This story was not written to glorify nor romanticize any type of abuse, mental illness, and suicide.

This was written in order for the reader to peek inside the mind and read the honest thoughts of someone who is suffering from mental health disorders and suicidal tendencies.

This story is a small way to help people who are dealing with similar issues discover a community through a book that will fully understand them with no judgement. A small step to help anyone who can't understand begin to find empathy. A reminder to everyone that might feel alone in their battle against mental illness and trauma that they are all valid, and that there are people who will empathize, understand and accept them as they are.

It's not a fault to be broken. It's okay to take your time. The pain you feel is valid. The fear you feel is valid. Your story is valid.

Each person's story and way of dealing with mental health is different, so do not take this as a direct representation of everyone who is diagnosed or suffering from depression and are suicidal. That is not the intention of this book.

There will be mentions of stigmatized and sensitive topics ahead. Please take caution and note that there may be potential triggers.

Also note that this was written in 2016, when I was just starting out as a writer. Please excuse any mistakes you may encounter. Thank you.

I hope this book reaches you well, and that everyone is safe and healthy.
