Unknown PoV.
I was having coffee when the three took a seat behind me. Michelle, Trey and... Ally. I would get up and just walk away, but then Michelle would call attention to me. My best chance is to stay where I am and wait for them to leave.
"So," Michelle said, "how're you liking Kingswood Ally?"
There was a pause.
"It's nice enough... Really enchanting." Alecia replied. Her voice was soft and quiet.
Trey chuckled. "That's Kingswood for ya," he said, "this town seems to have more stories to tell than the old folk in it."
For once he was right.
"That's the thing," Alecia said. "This place is messing with my head I think."
Oh?
"What do you mean Ally?" Michelle asked.
Thank you Michelle.
"I was looking in the water in my grandmother's fountain in the back yard... And I could've sworn I saw a lion around my face."
I tightened the grip on my tea cup and I tensed.
"That's weird." Trey remarked.
No... That's close to confirmation...
Alecia sighed. "Yeah... I haven't told anyone but you guys, so keep it to yourselves okay?"
"Okay," Michelle and Trey said.
Well I won't keep it to myself. Sorry sweetheart.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I reluctantly turned around.
"It is you!" Michelle said.
Trey gave me a sideways look and continued to drink his coffee.
Ally looked at me curiously, soon it turned into a look of suspicion.
"Hi Michelle, I was just leaving..."
She shook her head. "Have you met Ally?"
I shrugged. "I saw her at the bonfire."
Best to get this over with.
I offered Alecia my hand and she shook it.
"I'm Ally." She said.
"I'm Lucien." I said.
And I'm gonna rid you of this world sweetheart...
