C H A P T E R T H R E E

She disappeared.

My eyes shot open, my vision still blurry. I couldn't tell if these were sweat or tears at first.

When my vision refocused I see the white ceiling above me. I looked around and see y/n laying beside me.

She's still here...

The nurse sees me and gave me a small smile, "Ah. Mr. Park, it was successful. Miss. Y/n is making her steady recovery."

My heart lurches at the thought of finally being able to actually be of use to y/n.

I sighed in relief, "Thank god.."

The nurse gave me another smile, "Mr. Park, you've done well. I recommend you to go home for the night."

I can't leave now. I need to be by y/n's side.

"I'll stay here for the night, thank you." I reply.

"Oh? Then shall I get you a blanket?" The nurse offers.

"No. I'll be okay without it." I said reassuringly.

Suddenly, she was paged and excused herself moments later.

As soon as the nurse had left I suddenly, felt as if I was being spun around.

Even though I was sitting too.

My head aches.

"Y/n...." I murmur putting a stray hair back in its place, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I had done to cause you to be like this. I'm sorry for not treating you right. I'm sorry for not loving you enough. I'm sorry for everything I had done to cause you pain. Y/n..just please...please don't disappear. Please don't try to..."

Slowly, my eyes began to close. Drifting off to sleep.

Jimin had fallen asleep on y/n's bedside. Quietly, murmuring your name in his sleep.

With his hands still place atop your hand, it seemed like he was waiting for your fingers to intertwine with his again.

Y/n still in an unconscious state slowly showing signs of awakening.

Her body still motionless, her mind still swirling round and round. Making her dream again.

In a white room, with nothing in it. Just white.

You were aimlessly wandering the room. Feeling cold, isolated, and lonely.

Wanting these feelings to disperse you drop on your knees, covering your ears.

Not wanting to hear that sound of nothingness.

Suddenly, you see a hand extended towards you. This was your chance, you immediately grasp it, feeling the warmness radiating through your palms.

Something about this warmth was nostalgic.

You couldn't remember the last time you felt this kind of warmth.

Your eyes traveled up to see the face of person leading you. But you only saw so much until, he had vanished.

'No!' You thought feeling tears well up.

Now, you weren't in that room filled with nothingness, but outside. It was snowing too.

You felt cold, but you brushed it off. Wandering around for a bit you see a small boy with a red scarf.

Then, you see a cute little girl seated on a bench. The boy seated himself next to her, but had an awkward gap between them.

The girl sneezes, and the boy scoots shyly over and offers his red scarf. She looked at it suspiciously, but accepts his offer.

She clumsily wraps it around herself. The boy winces at how she wraps herself clumsily.

"Ah. You idiot, let me do it." He said and takes the scarf again.

He wraps it around her skillfully at first, but finds himself clumsily placing it above her head.

(A/n: I'm AOT trash and proud of it)

He was bright red.

"Are you stupid? This was worse than mine!" The girl whines.

"It's because you were too close!!" He retorts still a bit pink.

"Jiminie pabo." The girl teases and the boy pouts cutely.

Shortly after they both laugh contentedly at their expressions.

The scene vanishes and you were back in the white room of nothingness.

Now you understood why that warmth from that hand you took was so nostalgic.

You realized it was Jimin's hand you were holding.

The boy's name, eye-smile, and laugh. All of it. How could you forget?

Park Jimin the idiot that made you hurt, yet why are you forgiving him?

Soon, the room was so bright it blinded your eyes.

You felt a familiar pair of hands gently grabbing yours.

Slowly, you flutter your eyes open, seeing another white ceiling.
