You arrived in Hux's office at the same time as always. He sat at his desk staring at a computer. Dark circles were visible under his eyes and his hair had obviously not been combed in several days.

"Hello, General." You said quietly and he didn't look up from his screen.

"Good morning (Y/N), there is a stack of papers on your desk that need to be filed." He said without moving from his position.

"Yes General." You sat down at your desk and began filing the papers. It took almost two hours to file them all away. You had several paper cuts now and you cradled your sore hand. You saw a shadow on the desk in front of you and realized Hux was standing right behind. You turned around and he stared at your hands.

"Do you need to report to the med-bay for those?" He asked and you shook your head quickly.

"No, no, General, it's not a problem." You slipped your hands into your pockets. He nodded and sat back down at his desk, reading a document. You sat down at your own and answered a few calls from various sectors of the base. Every so often you would glance up and see Hux running his hand through his hair. It was such a delicate movement. All you wanted to do was reach up and run your fingers through his silky-

"Ah, so you are back." You snapped up and looked at the door. Kylo Ren stood in the doorway staring at Hux. To your surprise, his mask was off. His dark curls flowed past his shoulders and his thick eyebrows were narrowed.

"I am back." He answered gruffly and Hux rolled his eyes.

"Did you finish your training?" Hux said with a sneer and you suppressed a laugh. The Sith was almost a joke now around the first order, beaten by a scavenger girl who had never been trained.

"I have." Kylo answered coolly and suddenly his gaze went to you. You felt like you were being sucked through a tunnel as you felt your mind being invaded. You refocused your eyes and Kylo Ren gave you a smirk. "You have a new assistant." He stated and Hux gave him an annoyed look.

"Don't kill this one." He commanded and Kylo Ren seemed to shrug.

"Okay." He answered and stepped up to Hux's desk. "I need my own quarters on this base." He said and Hux turned to his computer.

"So you will be staying long term?" He asked and the knight nodded. "Ah, well. Floor 5, room 203. I will have (Y/N) show you where it is." Hux looked grimly at you and you nodded.

"Yes, General." You stood up from your desk and accidently knocked over some papers. "Oh no," You blushed and crouched down to pick them up. You looked up at Hux and he had an expression you couldn't decipher. Kylo Ren chuckled beside you. You gathered the papers and hung your head as you escorted the knight from Hux's office. He kept smirking as you both entered a lift.

"You have feelings for your superior, (Y/N), very unprofessional..." He said and you gasped.

"Sir, you must be mistaken." You said quickly and he rolled his eyes.

"I looked into your mind, and the Generals. Hmmm, what would he say if he found out what his assistant felt for him?" His smirk was dangerous and you shuddered.

"Please, I love my job. Please don't tell him," You pleaded and Kylo raised his eyebrows.

"What are you so afraid of?" He asked and you bit your lip.

"Well, like you said, it's unprofessional. And it's embarrassing." You admitted and your cheeks were flushed. He nodded.

"I won't tell him." He said with an evil grin and you tried to stop shaking. You walked him to his door and showed him how to unlock it. Then you sprinted back to Hux's office.

Kylo Ren was dangerous, intimidating, and a murderer. He also knew your secret. You were terrified as you entered the office and Hux looked up at you.

"Did he find the room to his liking?" He grumbled and you nodded. You sat down and fanned your face quickly to keep your blushing down. Hux looked worried. "Are you alright, (Y/N)?" He asked and you stuttered.

"Y-yes sir, sorry sir. " You grabbed some papers and started to organize them. You looked up and made eye contact with the General. His startling blue eyes bore into yours for half a second before you turned away blushing. He sighed and looked at his computer.

"Get back to work, (Y/N)."
