Princess of the sea

I met her while walking by the shore,
Wasn't expecting anything to happen.
Until her head suddenly popped up from the deep blue water.
I was stunned by her beauty,
Didn't bother to scream and flee away.

We stared into each other's eyes for awhile
The world stopped
Then she suddenly swam back into the ocean
Without thinking I dived in
I saw her, in a white silky dress
Her blonde hair flowing through the water.
I didn't know what kind of creature she was,
She didn't have a tail or anything.

Bubbles came out of my mouth as I said 'wait!'
I swam after her as fast as I could,
I was running out of breath— more like swimming out of breath, y'know what I mean? *symbal sound*

I blacked out.

When my eyes opened once again, I could see her.
Her.
Right in front of me.
Her beautiful face.
Her eyes that are full of so much emotions.
Her nose that is so cute to nuzzle.
And the lips of an angel.

Then she asked, "are you okay?"
Her voice.......
Was just like a melody in my ears.

We became acquaintances after that,
Then friends,
To good friends,
To close friends,
To best friends.

Then that time came.

She appeared in my life. I didn't have time to see Lucy anymore.
When I found out that I was betrayed.
That I turned my back on the only person that understood me, cared for me and loved me truly.
I acted fast.
I went back to the place where we met.
I saw her there. Still waiting for me.
After all those times, that I left her alone.

"Luce," I called out to her.
She turned to me and smile like nothing was wrong.

'Natsu!!" She waved at me and motioned for me to come closer,
I did so.
"How have you been?" I stared at her as my bottom lip wobble and tears started to flow from my eyes, embracing her.
She was shocked but after a few seconds she was caressing my back while I was crying on her shoulder.
She hummed a pleasant melody that made my crying slowly stop.

''Luce.''

''Hmm?''

''I'm sorry''

''It's alright, Natsu.'' She caressed my head as we were embracing each other, everything seemed so peaceful and quiet.
''Hey! You wanna go for a swim?'' Lucy asked me enthusiastically.

''Huh?''

''Let's go!!''

"Luce!" I was surprised that I could talk underwater.

"Heehee, yeah?"

"Wh—" she did her jazzed hands which made me know it was because of her powers. We played under the sea, swimming trying to catch each other. Like tag, just under the water. It was so fun.
After many rounds I caught up to her.

"Luce. I-I" I paused. "I love you" she looked at me and smiled warmly.

"I love you too Natsu!" We hugged each other tightly. "Finally...after all this time"
