The day my life began...

When I first saw him it was like a dream come true. He was someone that I would never be able to reach. He's a singer, he's famous and he's known by many people which is totally the opposite of me.

26th October, the first day we met. I felt like my legs could go weak anytime. He was different from what I thought he would be. He's tall, thin but it suits him well. As he walked past I could smell a light scent of his cologne, it was manly but yet sweet. When I looked up our eyes met, under those glasses were a pair of dark brown eyes. When he smiled I felt like my legs would go weak and the world was spinning. I called out his name softly "Jae"."Yes?" He replied. I couldn't say anything but I reached out for something that I'd prepared for him, it was a late birthday present.
"Are you allowed to accept gifts from fans? If yes, could you please accept the late birthday present from me?" I asked him softly hoping that he would say yes and I was right.
"Thank you so much and, yes, I'm allowed to accept gifts from fans" he said while smiling. I learned one thing that day, his smile could easily light up my world. Alas, I had to say goodbye or else I would miss the last train.
27th October, this day was the day I saw them play live for the first time. I've always watched him and his band mates through the computer screen, it was just so different.
He was standing there under the spotlight with his favorite guitar, Mary. His fingers caressed the guitar strings like they were silk. He held the body close to his chest. I could see his lips moving along to the next verse. He closed his eyes and it felt like he was closed off from the rest of the world. When he started to sing his voice hushed the audience as they stared in awe. I felt safe and for once, felt protected. This was definitely the man of my dreams.
28th October, I only had three days left in South Korea. I walked out the train station. I walked along the 'Apgujeong Rodeo' star street. As I walked the cold wind blew and the orange leaves on the trees were starting to fall off. It felt like a scene in a romance drama. It was romantic but yet lonely.
"Oh!" someone called out in a surprise. I turned around and saw Jae. My heart was racing fast, I felt the blood rushing to my cheeks.
"Hi Jae." I said shyly. I couldn't look into his eyes.
"We've met twice now right? Are you not planning to tell me your name?" He said. My mind went blank, He remembered me? He wanted to know my name?
"Yes and my name is Amber" I said as I raised my head up and looked into his eyes. He wasn't wearing his glasses that day. I could see his eyes, those eyes that made me fell in love.
We talked for a while, I noticed that he was different, different from everyone I've known. Actually meeting him in person changed what I've always imagined him to be. He was sweet, kind and friendly.
The day I've never wanted to come came. The day before I go back to Thailand. I didn't want to say goodbye. For the past few days we've learnt a lot more about each other than ever. I got to know about him more and he got to know about me. The love I had for him wasn't a fan loving an idol but it's a love from a girl to a boy. I went to JYP entertainment to meet him again but he had to practice until 1am so I waited. All the cafes and restaurants were closed. That night was very cold it's the end of October, at 1am it went down below 0 degree it was freezing but I just had to say goodbye to him. I wrote a letter for him, it's about how I felt toward him and that I didn't want to leave. He didn't know that I was going back to Thailand. At 1am he came out. He walked to me and gave me his jacket. I rejected but he insisted to get it back so I had to wear it. I could smell a light scent of cologne, it was the one I smelled before. I think I'm addicted to the smell of his cologne now.
"I thought you wouldn't come" Jae said softly. I can hear that there's a change in his voice, it seems like he's caught a cold.
"Jae, I need to tell you something" I said in a serious voice. Jae looked at me confusingly.
"What is it? Why do you look so serious?" Jae asked as he looked around. No one was on the streets at that time. He took my hand and told me to follow him. He walked down the stairs, I knew where he was taking me. It's somewhere I've always wanted to go, his practice room as we walked in, his bandmates were still in there. He told them something in Korean and they all walked to their instruments and picked it up. He told me to sit down and listen. They played a song that I'm familiar with 'Don't leave me' by Park Jinyoung. When they finished singing his bandmates went out of the room.
"I knew that you would leave me one day but I didn't know you would leave me this fast. Do you really need to go Amber?" Jae asked softly. I can sense sadness in his voice.
Tears started to stream down my face, tears that I've tried to hold back but I couldn't. I didn't want to say goodbye. He pulled me into a tight hug. He feels the same right? He didn't want me to leave like I didn't want to right? I cried till I felt that my legs would go weak. If he weren't hugging me I swear I would have already been on the ground.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I don't want to leave but I have to" I couldn't stop crying. He patted my head trying to comfort me.
"We'll meet again right Amber? It won't be the last time right?" Jae asked with a spark of hope in his eyes.
"I'll be there with you in every concert even if you can't see me but I'll be there" I said. We enjoyed the time being together until the last minute. I will always be his loyal fan, but this time, instead of me searching the stage for his eyes. He will search the crowd for mine.
