SAM'S POV-

We rounded the corner and slipped through the backstage door. Right into Harry's arms. I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist pulling me close. He nuzzles his head into my hair ad I lay mine on his chest. His breathing is quick and erratic.

"I was so worried," he said pulling away. I noticed all the boys and girls standing around too.

"We're sorry we couldn't come back for you, this guy wouldn't let us," Maddy says pointing to the bodyguard.

"It was for your own safety," he replies.

"It's alright, I wouldn't want that to happen to any of you guys," I tell them.

"So who's this?" Niall asks looking at Caroline.

"She saved me. I blacked out and she got me out of the crowd. And looked after me. I owe her," I smile at the boys.

"Thank you so much for doing that," Harry says, his hand still around my waist.

"What do you want in return?" Liam asks.

Thinking of pictures, autographs or front row tickets I'm surprised when she says "just a normal conversation with you guys."

They all laugh warmly. "Well you'd better come to our dressing room then," Zayn says.

In the dressing room Harry made me sit down and kept asking me if I was alright.

"Harry I only blacked out, I didn't have a heart attack," I laugh after he asked if I needed to lie down. But his face doesn't turn.

"I can't believe I let this happen to you," he says sadly sitting beside me in the corner of the room. Everyone else was talking in groups.

"It wasn't your fault," I tell him. "I needed to do this to see if I was ready."

"And?" He asks me, his face dropped.

"I don't know yet," I tell him truthfully. I didn't know whether I could handle it, or maybe today was just a bad day and it gets better.

He sighs and runs his hands through his hair.

"Hey don't be like that. I like you okay, just remember that," I say. I take his head in my hands and lightly touch his lips with mine. He responds immediately.

Someone knocks on the door and tells the boys they have five minutes.

"Come on, you have a show to do, and I'm going to be right there," I tell him. He smiles weakly but stands up and sorts his microphone out.

"Harry don't let this bum you out, enjoy the show. Everyone came to see you perform," I tell him.

"I just can't get the image of them shouting abuse to you out of my head. They're all the same," he says matter of factly.

"They're not all the same!" I tell him motioning towards Caroline. She was laughing and joking with Niall and Daisy.

I looked at his face. He seemed so stressed out and I couldn't let him go on stage like that.

"Harry it's probably going to be a yes," I tell him but he looks at me disbelievingly.

"Just good luck," I tell him giving him a quick kiss before he makes his way to stage.

Caroline comes and touches my arm. "Are you alright?" She asks.

"I don't know," I sigh looking at Harry walking off, "I have a lot of thinking to do."

"Well I have to get back to my seat," she tells me walking off.

"Woah wait, I'm sneaking you in where I'm sat," I smile at her.

"You can't do that!" She says but she's smiling.

"Watch me," I giggle grabbing her hand. The other girls laugh too and follow us.
