Chapter 15 - Misunderstood

Brittany POV

I'm really scared. No one is saying a word. It's just silent. I'm so confused. I thought they wanted us to be together?!? I thought they were shipping Trittany?! How can it be this awkward!? I look at Trevor, the fear in my eyes and he can tell I'm upset. I shake my head, looking at them all in front of me.

"Sorry, I can't er, do this" I say before running out of the room.
"Brittany!"
"Britt" I hear Trevor call but I just keep running.

Trevor POV
I sigh, standing in the middle of the hallway staring out at the car park. She left. She didn't even say goodbye. Well she did just through text.
"Goodbye Trevor" was all she said.

She just left. She's so upset and I feel so upset for her. I end up walking back to the board room. Everyone's still really quiet with only the slight whisper in the room.
"She's gone" I say slouching back into my chair.
"We're sorry Trevor" Alex speaks up
"Seriously, we should've spoken up sooner. We really are happy for you two. You're Trittany!! Not only is but I think everyone in the world has dreamt of you two being together" she adds. I weakly smile
"Well it's too late. Don't say it to me, say it to her. She's really upset guys" I say and Lamar stands up and goes to grab his phone.
"We'll call her. Do you know what her new number is?" I nod shyly and tell him her number and he types it into his phone.
"Hi you've reached Brittany Raymond from the Next Step. Sorry I couldn't catch your call right now, I'll try and get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, bye"

"Ughh Voicemail. Try again" I say and he does but the same thing happened
"That's weird. She only texted me like a minute ago" I say looking at Isaac and Lamar. The girls were around too just not as close
"What did she say?" Vic asks
"Goodbye Trevor" I say simply and she gasps suddenly and then turns to everyone else
"What do you think that means?"
"I don't know, maybe she just needs to chill. Let her mind flow off something different that her rejecting cast mates?" I say and they shake their head
"I think she meant goodbye in another way Trevor" she says gently taking hold of my hand. I tilt my head, confused. Before I finally get it
"Oh my god. I need to go and find her"
I say hurrying away. She's going to kill herself. And I cannot let that happen.

I get to the car park and suddenly realise that she took my car. Since we came here together she took my car. I end up catching a bus all the way to her house, hoping she's somewhere.
"Brittany!!!" I rush into her apartment, luckily boyfriends always get the spare key 😉
"Babe?! Where are you please I need to see you!??" I say in desperate rush. If she's not here than she could be anywhere and I have no clue where that could be. I hope I'm not too late. Right now my hearts pumping so fast out of my chest. It's all too much. I think I've not reached her in time. I sit down, putting my head in my hands and think as I just let the soft tears form down my cheeks. I'm so scared. Brittany's the best thing that's ever happened to me and I can't loose her. Not yet.

And then my world tips. I hear a soft whimper coming from far away. I look up, with a dash of hope as I quickly scurry through the halls until every room is covered. And no Brittany. It's over. It obviously was a bird or my hearing gone mad. But she's not here.
And I can't find her. I stand there in her hallways for around 10 minutes until I hear a loud crash coming from the sides of apartment. I rush to the far side of the living room and realise a secret door that has been opened slightly- it's directly opposite to where I was sitting before.

"Brittany!? Oh my god" I say rushing over to her. She looks up as I enter, running over to her and embracing her in a hug
"I'm so glad you're alright" I say leaning in to kiss her but weirdly she pulls away.
"Trevor, I can't do this anymore" she says moving away from me
"What do you mean? What can't you do?" I ask her, turning my head to her eyes. We're now face to face
"Us Trev. I don't....I don't think I can be with you anymore" she says before collapsing into tears
"What?"
"They don't approve Trevor. Seriously I'm so mad that they aren't happy for us. And I mean they're so close to me, family actually and if they don't think we can be a couple.....then--then neither do I" she says softly. I sigh, pulling her closely towards me

"Brittany" I say and she looks up at me for the first time
"You left before they got to finish what they were saying. They told me that they were extremely shocked at first that we had actually gotten back together behind their backs and they couldn't help but not say anything because they were stunned as it was just amazing that Trittany was alright again" I explain weakly and her expression turns hopeful
"Really?" I nod my head as she smiles, leaning in for a kiss.
"I love you, you know that?" I nod, kissing her neck with little kisses over and over
"Yeah I do. And I love you more" I say before fully kissing her again and again. It soon turns into a make out as we sit their in her little secret room for around 20 minutes just kissing each other.

"I never knew you had this room?"
"Really?! It's my girl cave. It's like a private area I have and use to take my mind off things" she says sweetly
"Its beautiful. Jus like you" I say and she blushes making me chuckle
"You know this is my favourite spot on the entire house. Cause it's not just my girl cave it's our cave" she says as I plant more kisses around her. I smile up at her, kissing her again and again.
"Mmmmph Trevor" she moans in between our deep kisses. She goes rougher and rougher and takes our make out to the next level as she starts taking off my jacket. Next I eliminate hers as well as her dance top and pants. She takes off everything of mine too until I'm left in just my boxers and she left in her bra and underwear. She smirks in between our kisses as I smile, scoping her up and taking her bridal style to her bedroom.

Things are about to get dirty. Trittany style 😉
