Chapter 3: What just Happened?

In the end my team won by 10 points and to say that Sasha's team was disappointed was a big understatement, they were beyond furious. It was kind of funny watching Sasha and Trisha flip out about losing.

Don't get me wrong their team was good, but her and Trisha were to focused on trying to impress Hunter that they played horribly. But the thought of them trying to impress Hunter angered me, I don't even know why, yes he's hot but I barely know the guy, I just met him this morning.

"You guys were awesome you kicked some major butt." Jax said as me, Zane, and the twins approached the group.

"Thanks" Us four said in unison

"Hey guys I need to head to my locker real quick to get some stuff for my next class, I'll catch up with you guys later." I said while giving all the girls a hug.

"Aw why don't I get a hug too?" Jake complained

"Fine" I sighed and walked back to give Jake his hug. When I hugged him I swear I heard Hunter growl. That's really weird I thought as I walked to my locker. Does he have a problem with Jake or something?

I got to my locker and switched out the things that I needed for my next class. When I was done I closed my locker and was about to head to class when Mark and his friends appeared again. Man can these guys just seriously just leave me alone.

"Hello again beautiful" Mark greeted, the way he said that made chills run up my spine.

"What do you want Mark?" I questioned keeping a straight face.

"Do you really want to know?" He asked with a smirk on his face while he walked closer to me. Each step he took towards me I took a step back, and his friends also started to box me in.

"Nope not really so can you and your little friends go away and find someone who wants to know." I answered showing my irritation. If they don't leave me alone soon I might just have to go karate kid on them.

"Haha, your so sexy when you get irritated, but what are you going to do about it your surrounded and no one will be able to help you not even Grace." He laughed as he grabbed me by the arm.

"Well I'll give you one last chance to leave me alone or I'll make you all regret coming near me." I said getting angry

"What makes you think that you can harm any of us?" Mark asked getting angry, while his grip on my arm got tighter. Man i think thats going to leave a bruise.

Thats it I have had enough of him and his little group. I was about to grab the arm that was holding me and twist it when I saw him flinch and fear fill his eyes. I could feel the presence of an alpha. I turned around and I saw Hunter standing there looking really pissed with Jax and the twins behind him. For a second I thought that he was going to shift but I remembered that no one knows that I know about the supernatural world.

"Let go of her!" Hunter barked at Mark, he looks really scary at the moment. But the fear that I saw in Mark's eyes a moment ago was gone.

"Why should I Hunter? Why do you care if I do anything to her?" Mark taunted

"I would listen to him if I were you Mark." Jax said looking worried

"I don't think I want to listen to him." He said while he tightened his grip on my arm and making me flinch from the pain, "Just because your the A-" He was cut of by Hunter punching him in the face.

Before I could go down with him, Hunter grabbed me by my waist and pulled me into his chest hugging me. I felt the same sparks from earlier but stronger because he was hugging me. For some reason it felt so right to be in his arms and with out thinking my arms wrapped around him to bringing me closer to him.

When I pulled back a bit, because he wouldn't let go of my waist, I noticed that it was only him and me in the hallway. Man how long have we've been hugging?

"Are you all right Zoey?" He asked with worry painted all over his face

"Yeah, I'm fine Hunter. Thanks." I said giving him a smile while looking into his beautiful brown eyes and just like earlier I got lost in them.

He started leaning towards me and I couldn't help myself from also leaning towards him. There was like a magnetic pull that was pulling us towards each other. Before I could even react his lips touched mine, and it felt like someone just lit up fireworks. His lips were so soft and moist against mine, that I didn't even realize that I was kissing him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he pulled me closer to him by my waist.

We both pulled back out of breath and he said "Your mine and no one else's."

I'm not sure whether I should be happy or scared about what he just said. So I did the only thing that was safe to do at the moment.... I ran. But before I turned the corner I looked back and what I saw almost made me turn around and run back to him, I saw see hurt, sadness, and regret flash through his eyes before anger replaced it and he punched the locker that was right nest to him.

That's all it took for me to run straight for the school doors and into Loretta's car. Starting it up I decided that maybe I need to get some answers and the only place I could get them were at the S.I.A. headquarters.
