Chapter 2 - I got Rejected by an Alpha

I stared at my mate, her beautiful blue orbs, her soft, pale skin and her full, pump, pink lips as her teeth bit onto her bottom lip.

We finally found her! My wolf cried dreamily.

I watched as my mate, lets just call her 'Nerd' as everyone else calls her that. She had gorgeous locks of golden blonde hair, bright blue eyes and her body was hooded with baggy clothing with an old wash colour, suggesting that she always wore outfits like this. When she bumped into me, i felt the sparks immediately as i had had Alpha Genes, and we were supposed to find our mate at age 12. Her eyes locked with mine in fright, then her eyes widened even more and her lips parted in shock as she realised that i was her mate. 

My first reaction was excitement, awe and love, my mate is beautiful i thought as i took in her features, my hand was still gripping her waist after i caught her from falling. Then, my eyes made contact with Kate, a girl who i was currently dating, then i snapped back into reality. My mate wasn't my type of girl, she was a nerd, i remember a few cheerleaders calling her a nerd once. I let go of her immediately and hissed in her ear to meet me after school, and she blinked in a daze and nodded, walking to her next class, and i went up to Kate, but it felt awkward, and almost wrong to hold her now, i instantly missed the feeling of my mate in my arms.

 When the bell rang for the end of school, i immediately smelt for my mate, and found her looking around for me. I went up to her and dragged her arm, feeling the sparks run through my veins.

Stupid mate connection. I made our way into the forest near the school and when we were a far distance from everyone else i let go of her arm and stared at her, wondering how to start. Start rejecting her as a mate.

She pushed the brim of her glasses up as she stared up at me, god that one gesture was adorable to me now. Normally when someone pushed up their glasses i would snicker at them, but when she did it, it was cute.

"Lood Nerd i -" I started, calling her 'nerd' before i had a chance to stop myself, cut me off abruptly with a piercing glare of her bright eyes.

"Its Alisonette." She snapped back angrily.

I rolled my eyes at her. She was feisty. Alisonette. Such an angelic, unique and innocent name, just like her.

I like her. My wolf chuckled

"Whatever..NERD, i'm just saying that since my reputation is a 1000 kilometres higher than yours in the social food chain so...it's not going to work." I announced. I regretted those words as soon as i said them when she stared at me, her bright blue eyes tempting me and stabbing me painfully with hurt flashing in them, my heart dropped as tears were in her eyes. But i had to do it, i couldnt be seenwith a nerd, that would make me look so weak.

"Y-you're rejecting me.." She whispered. I rolled my eyes, forcing them because my wolf was hating me right now. I'm sorry, i wanted to say to her, but of course i couldn't.

"Are you kidding me? Of course am you, freak! Why would i want an ugly as hell mate who has nothing to give me." I scowled back in an obvious tone.

What the fuck Zachary! Shouted my wolf

She stared at me in shock, her eyes staring into mine, and my heart stopped at her next words.

"Fine. I Alisonette Grey, accept your rejection Zachary Lennox. Asshole." She snapped, blinking back tears before she sprinted off further into the woods. Wait, what? What did i just do? My heart started to pump faster as i reallised my mistake. I was losing my mate already, fuck, i let out a groan as i felt the pain of her rejection, it hurt as if someone was squeezing my heart.
