Nate Talbot was on a mission with his brother, Peter and their friend, Tense. They were somewhat exhausted; it wasn't easy tracking down Charles Mathis, or his henchmen. They had been on the road for hours, with no food but water. They would find him, no matter what. The others were counting on them. "Whew! I'm tired." Peter yawned.

"It's three forty-five in the afternoon." Nate said

"Yeah. But, I usually don't get up 'til four." replied Peter

"Estúpido." Tense replied, and poked him in the back of his head.

"Uh, I'm Spanish too. Just don't know the lingo."

She gave him a devious look. "Oh, I think you can translate it."

Nate chuckled quietly.

The girl had an exotic look about her, with her brown lipstick. It matched her shoes. Her burgundy red hair blew harshly in her face. Her shirt was short enough to see her navel; she only dressed this way when godmother, Gina wasn't around. She wore skin tight jeans, but she was never uncomfortable. Her rain boots were always her go-to accessory for missions. "Are we bored, yet?" She asked, Peter and his brother both nodded in unison.

Nate began. "According to Talbot, Charles Mathis is a Con-serve. So he'd probably be very hard to notice. It's not like he has an Hideout somew--"

 "Does he?" She interrupted

"No, Tense. He has a lot of corporations though. Unfortunately, they're all at secret locations." Nate replied.

He was the tallest boy in their little family, besides Liam. He was wise, and always brave, like a big brother to all. He was strong, with burly arms and wide shoulders. His blue eyes were always gentle. His tanned skin made it difficult for people to place his ethnicity. His deep voice made him sound more mature than he appeared to be, eighteen. He was considered a gentle giant, except he rarely laughed, but happily smiled. Tense sighed,

"We need a new topic. I know! Talbot's birthday, what are you guys getting him? It's four days away, you know."  The boys looked at each other with uncertainty, they had completely forgotten. The Charles Situation had them working around the clock, but it did hurt them to forget the man who raised them.

"Uh, we already got it! Right, Nate?" Peter replied and elbowed him in the arm gently. "Um, right! We're just waiting for the right moment to give it to him." Nate said.

"Yeah. Ooh! Maybe a telescope?" Tense said.

"He already has about twelve of those." Peter replied. She sighed, and folded her arms.

Peter was the happy-go-lucky type of person. The fun was always his main priority, no matter what the situation. He was only serious when it was necessary, he lacked something in relationship emotions, but he never let his first breakup affect his choices or his family. He had a smile, which most girls considered adorable. He was shorter than his brother, but stood apart just the same. He always wore sleeveless shirts, except in the cold. He liked showing his arms; he felt it made flexing easier. Tense was tired of waiting in that one area, plus cornfields would always creep her out.

"Uhhh, I'm gonna track ahead. You guys catch up, okay?" They both nodded in agreement. Just like a cheetah, she was gone in a flash; all she left behind was a burst of wind. They were both lounging on the soft grass, minutes later Nate spoke.

"She'd be in the Twentieth Area right about now." He stepped away from his brother. "I'll try and catch up to her. Don't take too long, okay?" He said. Peter was staring down at some rocks and nodded. In minutes, there were wings protruding from Nate's back, he winced, and they merged back into his body.
