He sat working on the computer with Ben for what seemed like hours.
I was brushing Sally's hair and we both sat in a corner watching nervously as the boys pointed and whispered at the screen
It was something important... I just knew it
"It's time to take a break" I said as I put Jeff's arm over my shoulder and lugged him to bed
"I'm busy... Can't go to sleep" he mumbled
I rolled my eyes and pulled the blanket over him
"Calm down superman"
I said with a chuckle
"You don't understand" he said softly
"I really can't sleep right now" he added, as if convinced me was incredibly important
But I ignored him, crawling into bet next to him and wrapping my arms around his torso
Humming softly to lull him to sleep
I would soon find why he was so hesitant to sleep around me
