Art's Head is Parted

©2012, Olan L. Smith

Tread marks ran through his hair,

Read the lines in burnt air,

Parts left to right the tire;

Art's tresses did divide with ire;

His face muscle peeled from bone.

Is his head twain or one?

A/N: Icall this a metamorphosis poem that I have designed. The form is 6 lines with 6 words ineach. The first and last words in line 1are changed by removing one letter to make a new word for the beginning andending words in line 2. The same processhappens again in the next two couplets or the poem. This is a constraint poem with rhyme andmeter optional.
