"Umm is there a reason why?" I asked.
She said it so bluntly.
"Yeah what if your mom doesn't like me or something?" She asked rubbing her shoulder and looking down.
"Why wouldn't she?" I asked looking confused.
"Because my skin color" she said looking into my eyes.
"My mom doesn't care at all" I said smiling.
"Okay good because the last thing I need is to be offended" she said sighing.
I took her back to my house.
My mom was in the kitchen.
"Hey mom" I said and kissed her forehead.
"Hey my baby Jacob" she said and kissed me on my cheek.
"Mom I want you to meet Aaliyah".
She turned around.
"Oh my aren't you beautiful" she said then she hugged Aaliyah.
"Is this your girlfriend?" She asked. Me and Aaliyah looked at each other. "Nope" I said and scratched my head.

"I don't see why not" she said smirking.
I cleared my throat.
Aaliyah was laughing.
"Ooooo I gotta show you something" she grabbed Aaliyah's hand and took her to the living room. She put a tape in the DVDs player.

All of a sudden my talent show video came up of me singing.
"Oh my god mom turn this off" I begged.
"Wow I didn't know you could sing" she said smiling.
"Yeah I guess I can" I scratched my head.
When went back outside.
Oliver was standing outside.

"Hey Aaliyah I'm sorry" he said holding her hands.
"It's fine" she smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

It was almost 5:30 and I had football practice so I got dressed.

I really liked football.

Him and his friends started jumping Oliver.
Me and Tyler swung on them niggas we went ham.
We finally got them niggas off.
One was unconscious. Me and Tyler sat by Oliver his face was bruised up.

We called the police.
We went to the hospital and followed the car.

We got there.

The monitors were off.

The bed didn't have a mattress.

They moved so slow.
