Nagising ako sa nakaksilaw na liwanag mula sa bintana. Napangiti ako 'nang maalala ko ang nangyari kagabi. Sumasakit pa nang kaunti ang tadyang ko, but that doesn't matter. Automatically, my hand roamed beside me.

With that conviction, I reached for my keys.

Penny is hiding from me. Wala siya sa bahay nila. Tinanong ko na ang pamilya niya pero kahit isa sa kanila walang nagsasalita. I guess they still don't trust me. Hindi ko naman sila masisisi. After all what happened. I guess I deserve their cold shoulder.
