Before I knew it, I found myself seated in my car and driving home. I was greatly overwhelmed with the unidentified floating object that I saw awhile back that I forgot that I came to the party with Camilla. Damn! I promised to drive her home but it’s too late to go back because Im now in front of my house.

Damn it! Everything is a disaster.

I grabbed my phone and tried calling Camilla but after a few tries, I gave up. She isn’t answering her phone. I hope she goes home safely. I typed a short message saying that I was in an unusual state of mind that I forgot that we came together. Not a good excuse but there’s nothing I can think of right now, really. Everything just clouds up my mind and throws all my thoughts into confusion.

I entered the house and turned on the lights. I gazed at the vast space in front of me. Though I’ve lived here for quite some time, it still feels lonely here. I walked towards the living room and stared at the small family picture on display. It’s the only thing that I saved when our house was burned 12 years ago. My parents died in their attempt of keeping me alive, and I managed to run off somewhere, passed out and was sent to the orphanage. Luckily, I was adopted by an old smalltime business man who has no other family; I was given the best education and was raised well.

Thank you Gramps. I whispered as I look at the picture of my foster Grandfather.

I walked towards the bar and grabbed a bottle of Scotch. I took a drink directly from the bottle, not that always do this but hey, nobody comes here to visit. And Camilla doesn’t drink Scotch. Im still wondering about the girl that I saw at the park this evening. Her eyes are the color of violets, deep purple, as if speaking her heart directly to me. And what was with the faint yellow glow in her chest? I took another swig from the bottle and put it down. I climbed up to my room and without changing clothes, I jumped to my bed and rested my eyes. Who gives a hell about everything? Ill sleep and tomorrow when I wake up, that’s the time that I’ll think things through.

 Hecate

I can still hear my heart beating, only a fainter and weaker. I can’t believe that I finally saw him, my creator. After years of endless searching and patiently waiting for him to look up the sky, I finally saw him, and I get to see him up close.

Black cobalt eyes. Those eyes that stared at me and almost bore a hole unto my soul, I can still feel the heat of his wondering eyes while staring at me this evening. He might think that he is dreaming. What happened was way beyond a human’s reality.

I held my hands unto my chest and suddenly it felt that I have a heart. After years of sadness, I really hoped that I can finally find out something about my existence, and now it’s here. A realization of a dream.

The sound of the bell caught my attention and it was then that I realized that it’s dawn already. We must prepare to go down and let the Daylight people do their job. I shut my book close and turned off my lamp and prepared myself to go down. As the bell sounds, the floating clouds started to move closer to the ground. I watched everybody as they excitedly jump off their clouds and head towards the Priestess. Everybody made a line going out of the Sky Park. I chose to go out last because there’s a lot of things that I am excited to ask Priestess Selene. When everybody from the file has gone out of the park, I approached the Priestess and made a curtsy.

“Good morning Priestess!” I greeted her. The priestess smiled back at me.

“Good morning dear Hecate. How is your night today?” She asked while fixing the attendance sheets in front of her. She handed me our attendance sheet so I can sign my name on it. After signing, I handed it back to her and smiled.
