(lol the picture of Patrick here has literally nothing to do with this story but he's adorable so y'know. Also this is from Luke's perspective k. Again, it's abusive and sad and all that stuff, so don't read if you don't want to or if you may be triggered)

Luke knew that he was mad, the anger was radiating from him. He just didn't know that he'd gotten so mad that he'd hurt Luke. He's never, ever, physically hurt Luke.

The second they were out of view from Starbucks, Luke knew that he was in for it. Sure, Luke's boyfriend may have been acting happy around Ca--people in public, but once they were alone it turned violent.

He dragged Luke into his apartment, pushed Luke on the floor and locked the door behind him.

He then kneeled down next to Luke and grabbed his chin with a bit too much force. He turned Luke's head so it was facing him, and stared into Luke's eyes. When Luke stared backed into his boyfriend's eyes, he saw the lunacy in them.

"You love me, don't you, Lukey?"

Luke was terrified, so he nodded his head rapidly.

"And you're never going to leave me like Ty did?"

His boyfriend's grip tightened, so Luke mumbled a quiet, "no".

"Good, good...So you'd never steal Calum from me either, would you?"

Luke was more hesitant answering this, but his boyfriend's grip on his face tightened yet again, causing Luke to writhe in pain.

"No, I would never steal Calum from you," Luke says shakily. "I don't even like Calum, you can have him or whatever. I don't care."

Luke has gotten very good at lying, which he probably shouldn't be very proud of, but it gets him out of some really bad scenarios so he's not one to complain about it.

His boyfriend nodded, and smiled, even though his eyes were cold and piercing holes in Luke's skin.

"That's good, sweetheart. He wouldn't like you anyways. I'm the only one who loves you, you know that?"

Luke nods. "Yes, I'm really lucky to have you," Luke said in a flat tone. Thankfully, his boyfriend didn't pick up on it.

"You are, aren't you? Shouldn't you be acting more grateful, then? You shouldn't be going out with other guys, especially Calum."

Luke's boyfriend stood up and stared down at him, disgust written all over his face. "You really are pathetic, my dear Lukey."
His boyfriend sent him a sardonic smile.

"I know you're lying, Luke. You always lie, and it hurts me deeply," he sighed, acting sad and meek.

"L-lying about what?"

His boyfriend shook his head, that twisted grin still on his face.

"Oh, Luke. I can see right through you, you know."

"I'm n-not lying about anything."

"You like Calum. You're going to steal him from me before I even get him. I know you will. You absolute piece of crap!"

"I don't like Calum! He's yours! He's all yours...please don't hurt me..."

"I'm not going to let you leave me like Tyler did. Tyler was better though. He would never lie to me. He would never see other guys behind my back, I wouldn't let him. I don't let you either, but you disobey me," his boyfriend snarled.

Suddenly, Luke saw a picture frame go flying, landing dangerously near him. There was shattered glass scattered everywhere, and Luke flinched.

"I'm s-sorry," Luke said shakily.
