Overwhelmed (Shannon and cammie)

Cammie POV

I can tell that Shannon likes me at least as a friend, because I could feel her kicking Ally under the table when ever Ally said or did something stupid. When Ally jumped up to go and save Stevie from whatever was wrong with her the last thing I wanted to do was move to the side of the table away from Shannon but I knew I couldn't stay next to her.

I also knew I had to know if she was gay.

" Do you think everything is okay with them too?" I asked trying to pick back up the conversation.

"Yeah probably I am guessing she failed a test or something is wrong with one of their cats or who knows maybe she just wanted Ally home." she says

It is clear that she might be alittle annoyed with Stevie sometimes so i try to move away from that topic.

"So how is your family, what are they like?"

" They are pretty cool, my parents are divorced I lived with my dad before I came here but I really like my mom i just liked where my dad lived better. I have a sister named Casey she lives in New York and yeah that is about it. how about you?"

" They are really excepting. My parents are still together and I have a brother named Lee he lives in Pittsburgh." I say

Did I really just say they are really excepting? I am so used to everyone knowing that I was gay that they would be asking me if they where supportive not if they where good parents.

" what do you mean they are supportive?" she asked

Should I tell her? I mean her best friend is Gay?

" Umm they have always just support me for who I am and they support me in everything I do" I say

" And by who I am I mean with my sexuality" I say looking down at the table

I can't believe I just said that

SHANNON'S POV

O.M.G. I can't believe it!!! Did she just say that she was gay? could this day get any better?

" It okay don't be scared I am too" I say looking over at her she is looking at the table when she hears what I say her head shoots up

" Really !!!!" she exclaims

I nod

" I was so scared I would get stuck rooming with someone that wouldn't except me" she says

We finish up our dinner and pay mostly with Ally's 20 dollars and made our way out to my car I ran in front of her and opened her door she jumps in and I run over and get in

"Thank you so much for a great night" she says putting her hand on my leg

" I loved spending the night with you" I say hoping she wont move her hand

I start driving and she slowly moves her hand away I grab her hand and put it back on my leg.

we quickly arrive back at school and I once again jump out of the car and open her door we walk into our messy room neither one of us had finished unpacking.

" do you wanna watch a movie I have a laptop projector" I say looking through my stuff for my laptop

"yeah we can lay on my bed and project it on the wall behind yours" she said

" yeah it is probably a good idea mine is still pretty messy" I say laughing and grabbing my tie blanket

I set up the projector and turned on turned on the last song which cammie said was one of her favorites. I then sat on the bed next to cammie trying not to sit to close but also not trying to leave to much space. as the movie started we started to talk about random things like our childhood, highschool, and many other things. By the end of the movie we hadn't watched any of it and cammie was closer to me so close I feel her breath. We decided to lay down and watch another movie since we didn't watch much of the other one. Cammie put her head on my arm and started to watch the movie.

" Is this okay" she asks looking up at me

" This is perfect" I say

We watched the movie until we both fell alseep. I woke up and grabbed my phone it was dead shit I have to plug it in or my alarm isn't gonna go off. I look next to cammie to see her phone lighting up with text messages it was 2:00 A.M.. I remembered that I hadn't heard from Ally and my phone was dead I slid cammies head off of my arm to make my way to my bed so I could charge my phone and go to sleep.

" Please stay here, Please just sleep here tonight" she said in a very sleepy voice

" I need to plug in my phone so I can text Ally and so I am not late to class" I say sitting up

" Shannon if Ally needed you she would be at our door and we can be late to class together" she said pulling me down putting my head on her chest cuddling me close.

OKAY GUYS I AM GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER SNOW DAY TOMORROW AND I WILL UPDATE AGAIN
