Jackson: "Why are you so nervous? It's just my parents" he said chuckling at your reaction. "I know. It's just so nerve-wrecking." you said biting your lip. "Weren't you nervous when I first introduced you to my family?" you asked looking at him expectantly "Ani" he replied. You rolled your eyes as he laughed at you. "I shouldn't have asked that".
He held your hand as the two of you walk in to their house. "Here, take a seat first" he lets you sit down on the couch with you still holding his hand. He chuckled "How am I supposed to call mom if you're not letting me go?" you pout, not wanting to let go of his hand "Unless you want to go with me ..." he teases. You sighed "Fine" as you release your grip from his hand "I'll be right back" he reassured you.
He quickly ran upstairs yelling 'Mom', you shook your head he's like a kid you thought to yourself. Not knowing what to do. You pull out your phone in your pocket and started scrolling through everything. You played games, look through all your photos and stuffs. You sighed "What's taking him so long" you asked yourself while looking at the watch on your wrist.
Out of boredom, you stood up from your position and started wandering around the living room. You saw a couple of picture frames displayed at the cabinet; you smiled looking at Jackson's baby picture. Most of them made you laugh, Jackson dancing, toothless Jackson and baby Jackson in goofy faces.
You were so focused in adoring Jackson's old pictures when suddenly pair of arms were wrapped around your waist. You smiled, already knowing whom it belongs. He rests his chin on your shoulder looking over to the same pictures you were staring at "I was a good looking kid, right?" you chuckled as you tilt you head resting it to Jackson's head. "Was" you said chuckling. He pouts at your response. You side your head kissing his cheeks "And still" you continued. He smiled hugging you tighter in response.
"Awwe. Look at you two." Your eyes widened with that. Jackson quickly let go from hugging you as you contain yourself from embarrassment. "Hi. You must be Y/N. I'm Sophia. Jackson's mother" Sophia engulfed you with a hug. You awkwardly hug her back while looking at Jackson who was just staring at the two of you with a proud smile. You look at him confused.
Sophia lets go of you "Are you guys hungry? You should be, cause I've prepared a lot" she said looking at you. You just smiled still unsure how to act in front of your boyfriend's mom. "We purposely didn't eat Mom" Jackson jokingly said towards his mom. Sophia slaps Jackson's arm "You didn't feed her?" she said referring to you as Jackson rubs his arm where he was slapped by his mother "Because I knew you were gonna make a lot of food" he reason out chuckling "You were so excited" he continued. You glared at Jackson, signaling for him to stop "It's okay Mrs. Wang, I wasn't hungry earlier though" you joined the conversation "Just call me Mom, dear. Don't let Jackson take you on cheap dates, okay? Let me know if he does" Sophia said smiling at you. You laugh at response. "I don't do that" Jackson mumbled.
"Let's eat" Sophia said ignoring her son. She walk out of the living room calling her husband leaving the two of you. You sighed in relief.
"She already loves you" Jackson said holding your hand "Really?" you said as your brows furrowed "How come?" Jackson smiled staring at you. You smiled back getting ready for his cheesy response, but instead ...
"Because she never hit my arm before" he said.
You laughed, both for expecting and with the answer you get. "I am dead serious here Y/N" he chuckled "But at least I get to keep the two woman I love the most" he shrugged his shoulders as he walk towards the kitchen. You shook your head at his cheesy reply as you follow behind. Well that's the Jackson you know.
