Chapter 51. Library Incident

I look up at him again and back to the folder, "Alright, just leave it there and I'll take care of it," After what I said, he left the folder in front of me and left. I followed him using my eyes as he landed back to his own desk.

I let out a heavy sigh and shut my eyes while shaking my head from left to right, "I thought I can finish this in no time," Without second thoughts, Taeyeon stand up noisily that made all of the members look at her suspiciously.

She's about to reach for the doorknob when, "Stop," That makes me frozen and slowly look back to find him both elbows rested on the top of the table with his fingers locked together, "Don't go alone. Kris will accompany you," He muttered, soon enough, I dart my attention to Kris as he's currently out from his desk.

"Take care of her," Whoah! It's my first time to hear him muttered that words! I can't believe it for many billion of years, it just came out once in a blue moon!

"What are you staring at? Go," I came back to my senses again when he motioned me to go. I quirk my lips to the other side. But before I could ever lay a finger onto the knob, Kris volunteered himself to open it for me with or without my permission.

To show and respect for his kindness, I immediately accepted that kind offer as we both got out from the classroom.

Library, Taeyeon's POV

"Annyeonghaseyo, Ms. Song! Joeun achimimnida!" I greeted with a smile on my face, "Well hello there, Taeyeon-yah! What makes you visit the library?" The librarian, which is Ms. Song, asked. "Well actually, you know the Black Pearl leader, he had this task for me to do. So I better get straight to the point. Anyways, can I get this book for now?" I asked and gave her the folder, Baekhyun just gave me.

She flipped it open and smiles, "Yes of course! Oh wait, have a seat first, you'll going to have this in less than 20 to 30 minutes. It's in the histories so I have to look for it anywhere," She nodded at the midst of her sentence. I smiled and freely nodded at the same time, "Of course, I'll.. I mean.. We'll wait for it, right Kris?" I look back to Kris who's silently staring at the both of us.

"Yes," He nodded once. "You can roam around if you want to," Ms. Song added with a smile. I turn my back and left before there would be another awkward series within this giant guy, "Wait up," That makes me stop on my tracks when he speaks.

I turn around to find him usually using his coolly expression, "Where are you going?" He arch one brow. "Uh.. To go around? You can sit by the nearest sofa if you want to, or read some comics or novels. Or you better go first," I awkwardly said.

"There's no way I will leave you here alone," I blink countless of times as he walk casually to the nearest sofa and grabbed some random novels. "O-okay, take your time then," I muttered, even though he can't actually hear what I just said.

Beyond this vast place, I started to tour myself around in case I'll find some interesting book of history and about the dynasties before. I look all around to find the place seemed to be so old indeed. Well, what can you expect for this building since they were build almost from the Joseon Dynasty?

But it caught my attention when a very old book caught my eyes. It's almost been ripped off. I furrow my eyebrows together, slowly reaching the book with my naked hands. When it's nearly an inch away when someone bumped on me at the time that made me stumble down at the wooden floor.

I reach for my head and rub it with my finger as I shut my eyes because of pain, "Yah! Can't you just move aside? Someone needs to cross this path you know? You're not the only person who have the permission to lay a foot on the floor!" A guy scolded me. I slowly look up to find a familiar guy, his both eyebrows are furrow together in anger. Did I just met him somewhere? He seems too familiar in my eyes. He's now glaring down at me as his whole shadow eat mine.

"S-sorry," I lower my head. Soon enough, I found a hand in front of me as it was widely open. I look up once again to saw him offering his hand to make me stand. "T-thank you " I mutter again and accepted his offer. I brush my uniform away from dust as I shyly look down, probably avoiding his gaze.

"You better set aside next time when someone needs to cross the path with yours, alright?" I slowly shiver in fear when I heard his husky and scary voice. "S-sorry.. I g-get it next time," I almost whisper, bowing at him.

"Well, you learned your lesson by this day," He dart me a one last glare before he left me biting my lower lip as I stared at him using my eyes.
