Comment please!~Teigan Red X's P.O.V I woke up early the day after I became a titan. I'm kindve excited about being a titan, but Robin, that guy is acting like Star is his girlfriend. Clearly she's going to be my girlfriend. Anyway, I knocked on Star's bedroom door. I heard some rustling inside and in a few minutes Star stood with the door cracked. I guess she was in her underwear. "Greetings, friend Red!" Star said. "Hey Star. How'd you sleep?" She looked down as she said," Very well." "Well do you want to go somewhere today?'' Star nodded. "Where?!" I shrugged. "We'll explore Jump I guess." She dashed in her room, shutting the door. In less than 3 seconds she reappeared. She was dressed beautifully in flare blue jeans, a purple t-shirt that had a panda cartoon on it, and a pair of scuffed sneakers. "Ready?" I asked. Star nodded as she grabbed my hand. We flew to Jump Arcade first. Me and Star bought a few tokens and started playing video games. I watched as Star dominated an odd Japanese video game. She even drew in a small crowd of boys. After the arcade, we went to the movies to see Super Scary in 3-D. The entire time she clung to me, shaking. I can't say I didn't like it. I put my arm around her. After the movie, we grabbed lunch at a pizza parlor. I shared with Star, although she ended up eating most of our mustard, pickles, gummy worm, chocalate pizza. After lunch we went to the amusement park and rode a bunch of rides. Star loved the Twirl-O-Wheel. She rode it 7 times in a row without barfing. Next was bumper cars, and after, right when the sun was setting, we rode the ferris wheel. When we got to the top Star grabbed my hand and we flew out to this weird wooded area. We landed in a meadow. Star layed down on the grass. I layed next to her. "Red, where are your parents?" Star asked me. I hesitated, but I told her. "They died in a car crash when I was little. I lived with my aunt until I was sixteen. Then, I left. I guess it was time to move on..." I felt tears well up in my eyes but I fought them back. "What about you? What was your past like?" Starfire sat up and shook her head. "If I told you, you would not like me." I grabbed her hand. "I'm here forever. Please tell me." Starfire started

"When I was little, I never knew my parents. On my planet royal children are raised by a caretaker. Mine was named Galfore. When I was 6, my planet was under attack by the Gordanians. In order to save Tameran, I was given to them."

"Why you?" I asked.

"I was a threat. I was next in line as ruler of Tameran. The child with the powers always inheirits the throne."

I nodded and asked her to continue. By then, she was upset.

" I was handed over before I could tell Galfore goodbye. They put me in chains and kept me in a dingy little cage. I was rarely fed, but sometimes this Gordanian guard would smuggle me traces of food. Everyday the guards, whether they wanted to or not, repeatedly yelled Troq at me. It is a word used by people who despise us Tameranians. It means 'nothing'."

Starfire paused then went on. " When I was 12, the Gordanians dumped me on the Zanthion Planet, where Tameranian outcasts are banished. When the outcasts, who had much hatred towards royal Tameranian family, captured me and were cruel to me. I was beaten, starved nearly to death, and once, raped."

Starfire stopped. She was crying. "You do not like me now, do you?" I hugged her. "Of course I do. You don't have to tell me anymore if don't want to." Starfire shook her head. "I want to."

"I finally escaped and flew back to Tameran. By that time, my sister was in power. She sold me over to the other alein race, the Glorfnofs, to keep peace between them and so she could continue to rule. They also were abusive and I was held by them for three years until I escaped and made it to Earth." She stopped and sighed. I hugged her. Then, I made a huge mistake: I kissed her. Star didn't kiss back. She pulled away quickly. "Red? Why did you make lip contact with me?" I shrugged. I couldn't say anything. "I'm sorry, Star. I know you don't like me that way." I said.

"No it is not that. I like you and some one else that way. I am afraid he does not like me that way..," Star said.

"It's Robin, isn't it?" I said. I was scared to lose her. I knew what Robin felt for her.

Starfire floated up. "I must go. I'm so confused.." Star flew up in a flash, she was gone. I hoped she would forgive me, but I doubted it. I sat down, tears dwelling again in my eyes. I curled up in a ball and alone in the meadow I cried for Star.
