The Deal

Starfire floated up. She didn't know what Red X had in mind. Red X could tell she was going to try to escape, so he said," I supose you've read my little note, huh?" Starfire nodded. "Why did you need me to come here?" Red X smirked. "I guess I'll tell you. After all, you made the effort to come here." Starfire floated down to the ground and sat with her legs crossed. "Tell me, please." Star said. "I have recently been working with Slade. He asked me to get him a crystal chip." Starfire's jade orbs grew big. "What does it do?" Red X sighed. "I wish I knew, but its top secret. But, hey, he's Slade, so whatever it is, it's not good. I recently aqquired the chip, and before I handed it to him I demanded something in return." Starfire watched his every move. He seemed to hesitate before he continued on. "And I told him what I wanted....and what I want is..what I want is you

." Starfire stood up. "Why?" Red X smiled. "Because I love you." Starfire was thrown off. She shook her head. "Red X, I do not like you that way. If you wish, we can be friends." Red X frowned. "I know. I was going to kidnap you...but I can't bring myself to.." Starfire smiled, flew over to Red,and kissed his cheek. "You are nice. You don't belong working for Slade.." Red X nodded. Starfire quickly jumped up. "If you help us catch Slade, you can be a teen titan! You can live with me, Robin, Raven, Beastboy, and Cyborg!" Red X smiled. "Deal." Starfire laughed and grabbed his hand and the two flew towards Titans Tower. Star and Red X walked inside the tower. "Come, meet my friends!" The two walked into the living room. "Starfire!" Cyborg yelled. "Where ya been- Star, what is Red X doing here?" Robin walked over. "Star, whats going on?" Starfire looked at Red X. "We both will explain." Starfire and Red explained what happened. By the time the story was over, Robin was far more than angry. "You were going to KIDNAP HER?" he yelled at Red. Red X said nothing.Starfire said," Robin that is no way to talk to a fellow titan." Robin frowned. "He-" Robin pointed to Red- "is not a titan, Star!" Starfire flew up. "Yes he is! All in favor of Red being a titan, raise your hand!" Starfire's arm shot up. Cyborg, Raven, and BB all looked at Robin. "This could be our only chance of catching Slade," Cyborg said. Robin looked down. He knew it all too well. Cyborg raised his hand. Raven and BB did so too. Starfire squeled in delight. "Yay four against one! Come friends, let's order pizza and celebrate!" And so, the six ate pizza and celebrated.
