Chapter 1: First Day of School

"Good morning, how may I help you kids?" She asked

"Good morning, We are here to pick up are schedules." I answered

"I will be more than happy to get those for you. Can I have your names please?"

"Zoey Valdega."

"Loretta Sanchez"

"Carlos Ramirez" We all replied one after the other.

"Thank you, I will print those out for you immediately." She said, as she started to print our schedules.

A few minutes later she each handed us our schedules, locker info., and a map of the school. "If you have any questions or trouble please don't be afraid to come back here and ask me." She said as we thanked her and made our way out.

Once outside of the office Carlos spoke up, "Let's look at our schedules." We all agreed and put our schedules out so we could all see it.

My Schedule:

2. Adv. Photography

3. AP Government/Economics

4. Culinary

5. Adv. Choir

6. English 4

Loretta's Schedule:

1. Adv. Band

2. AP Spanish

3. AP Government/Economics

4. Pre-Calculus

5. Adv. Choir

6. AP English 4

Carlos's Schedule:

1. Adv. Band

2. AP Spanish

3. AP Government/Economics

4. Pre-Calculus

5. Adv. Choir

6. English 4

I'm guessing Director Smith was the one to enroll us, because of all the Pre-AP and AP classes he put us in. Also how Loretta and Carlos practically have all there classes together, while I'm all alone. But it does make sense since their mates, I don't think Carlos would be happy with her in different classes.

As we reached our lockers the bell to class rang. At least are lockers were right next to us.

"OK. Zo we'll meet you here after 2 for break." Carlos said as he put his stuff into the locker.

"Yeah, OK. See you guys later." I said as I gave them both hugs and headed the opposite direction from them.

When I reached my math class it was half empty. I walked over to the teachers desk, to tell her that I was her new student. As I approached she noticed me and a huge smile appeared on her face.
