Chapter 48. Way Back To Seoul

"Oh! He's at the other house. He said, you can go there anytime. It's his closest friend or someone important from him. He gave me a hint that.. You knew that person so much," Closest friend? I knew that person?

I don't have a closest friend here except for the girls and the Black Pearl members. What is he talking about? Did I really knew that person so much?

"So! Will you go and visit that person instead?" I went back to my senses when auntie speaks. I slowly shake my head and bite my lower lip as I look down. "Maybe I'll just visit that said house later," I said and walk straight to the dinning area to eat my breakfast.

Taeyeon's POV

T-this house? This house that I talked about when it's actually an apartment? This is probably a house? An enormous house? The one I've been asking about since I arrived in Seoul? I wonder who lived in here? My closest friend?

I heave out a deep inhale and exhale before laying a step on the platform. After which, I click on the doorbell as I waited for someone to open it up for me. I don't think I can consider this place as our neighbor. I walked almost 10 minutes or more, good thing I still got an energy.

The door creaked open reveals, "Oh? Black Pearl? Come in," I'm surprised when Tao suddenly appeared in my sight. Without any idea, I walk inside the said house? Or apartment? I don't know! And as I look to the other side, I found Chanyeol, Sehun and Suho. I furrow my eyebrows to see the place cleaned up and the things are placed properly to who knows where.

"What are you guys doing here in some other's property?" I ask curiously and dart my attention at Suho, but he just avoided my gaze and look down. Something's wrong happening here, isn't it?

Soon, I spotted the other members named Luhan, Chen and Xiumin from the kitchen as they greeted me with a bow and a sweet smile. "What's happening here? Can someone explain this to me? I kinda feel curious all about it. Who's the owner of this.. House or apartment or whatever?" I asked again and look at each of them.

But no one dared to answer my question. All of the sudden, I can hear footsteps from above. I spotted Kris and Lay together as they look down at me. "Good morning, Black Pearl," They both greeted at the same time. "G-good morning, i-indeed!" I smiled nervously, looking all around them to find them complete, exception for the two named. "Taeyeon-ah!" I quickly dart my attention back to find Kai, holding a carton bag contains all of the groceries.

I smile as he enter the place, "What are you doing here?" He asked curiously, I shook my head as I shut my eyes, "I'm the one who should ask you that one. What are you guys doing here in someone's property? And why are the members didn't even answer my questions? I've already asked for how many times but something's wrong, they are not actually talking to me nor to the others. They are avoiding their gazes towards me, what's wrong? Why are they acting like this all of the sudden?" I asked many times because of curiousness.

He smiles before putting down the groceries on the table, "Don't worry, I think that's very necessary. You'll need to find it out sooner of later. Or should I say, someone will be the one who's going to explain everything to you. Trust me," He taps my shoulder after.

I bite the inside of my cheeks, looking at every members to find them listening to our conversation. What' the life of a Black Pearl member needs to be thrill? Just like what I've saw in movies?

"And that person is what I'm talking about. It's him," Kai says as he pointed an index finger to someone as I slowly followed to where his finger would point at.

My eyes round in horror when I saw that person wearing into a casual one, behind him is none-other than my cousin, Kyungsoo.
