You both found a coffee shop somewhere around the corner and came in for coffee.

You sighed in relief with the smell of real food since most of the food you guys were eating were mostly canned, and cold bread with butter.

Some baked pastries were newly baked which filled the air with a sweet smelling aroma that satisfied your sense of smell.

The shop had that warm and cozy aesthetic people would want during the winter.

A large warm pit with a fireplace in the middle, woos walls with paintings and a mounted animal above the fireplace, couches and sofas with tables surrounded the area, the counter was wooden with a sleepy cashier waiting for a customer and a working vintage cash register, there were some people either talking or doing work while eating and drinking, and a glass display full of pastries that caught your eye as your stomach grumbled.

"Food..." You murmured as you followed Lukas towards the counter where the cashier sat.

You let Lukas do the talking since you picked out whatever you wanted.

"(Y/n)?"

"A cinnamon roll, a bagel, and krakeling." You pointed at the pastries. "And (insert favorite hot drink here)."

You grabbed out your wallet for some cash to pat, but then you heard the sound of the cash register and saw Lukas down with the bill.

"You didn't need to!" You looked at Lukas who just looked back shrugging his shoulders.

"I should take care of my guest on the road, shouldn't I?" He pointed out.

"Yeah, but I could've paid for my own." You sighed. "You provided me most of my shit right after my things were destroyed."

Lukas ignored your statement and walked away.

You sighed in defeat and followed him towards the couches.

You sat across the table from him and crossed your arms.

"I'm paying you back." You stated.

"If that's fine with you." He answered as silence filled the air.

As the silence continued you studied him a bit more closely as if he actually let you since he was just looking at you back.

Intimidating lavender eyes, his well-chiseled face made him look like he was a sculpture, his porcelain white skin looked like it can be broken easily but there was never a scratch on it even though he fought a troll or the cult, he had slender fingers that made you jealous, his features almost looked more feminine that masculine, and his platinum blonde hair made you curious with the cross clip that held a curl of hair  floating in the air.

He was... Well, beautiful. He could've been a girl in disguised or a guy in disguised. Either ways he was beautiful nothing less. He may look monotonous, but he didn't look too old or too young for his age. He had that look that made you curious about him. In short, he was mysterious.

You leaned in closer to get a closer look trying to find that something in him. The expression on his face was just blank as a page or how you try to make a story, but then your ideas disappeared from a bitchy writer's block.

"Are you done staring?" He finally spoke.

You widened your eyes a bit in realization and sighed. You leaned back on your couch as the food was served.

A bagel, a cinnamon, and the pastry that looked like the krakeling. It looked different than the ones you've seen back in your uncle's place.

This one looked more wider and softer than the ones you ate when you were younger.
