My dad frowned even more and shot me a deadly stare as I only did my best puppy eyes. He sighed loudly before flicking the both of us off playfully, making his way upstairs.

"He's fine with it," Anastasia said with a wink whilst shaking her head with a smile. "Now girls, be on your best behavior and just because I'm your mom, doesn't mean I'll let you off the hook easily."

Aubree and I winked at each other before hopping off of the stools and saluted her. Anastasia laughed and shook her head, grabbing her purse and keys before heading straight out the door.

Aubree and I arrived at the school in just a matter of minutes, due to her fast driving in her all black Mercedes. The atmosphere of the school was light and carefree but when an all black Tesla came rolling in, the students immediately became quiet and made their way inside the school.

I looked at Aubree in confusion but instead, her smile instantly lit up.

"What just happened?"

"Well there is always a certain group of bad boys in each school," she started, looking at me seriously as we both made our way to the entrance of the school building. "The bad boy's here are the certified worst and dangerous boys you will ever meet, trust me. They have gotten into deep shit and they might have gone to jail a few times for doing some illegal things. I mean, they are dangerous for god's sake. There are four of them who stick together no matter what, the leader of the group's death stare can send people down a drain in just a millisecond."

I frowned at her intel. "How do you know this?"

"I'm dating one of them," she answered, shrugging as if it was no big deal at all.

Our conversation ended just as we entered the main hallway.

Lunch came rolling in fast as Aubree and I were just exiting out of our last class. I had learned that all teachers I had so far loved me and that Anastasia has put me in Aubree's classes so I didn't feel lonely.

I mean what if I needed time alone because it was the time of the month or something bad happened?

Aubree and I rushed towards our lockers so we could put our stuff away. Unfortunately, our lockers were separate from each other but I wasn't complaining at all.

"New kid!" a masculine voice shouted from far as my stomach dropped to Hell. I looked around to see if anyone was near me but unfortunately, it was just me myself and I

I slammed my locker shut and turned around, wanting to get as far as that voice was but my face only met a hard chest. I gulped and looked up to see a 6'3 ft tall figure leaning over my 5'4 ft figure. I could see his light brown eyes with green specks, no emotion was evident at all, and his dark brown hair disheveled as if he had just run a hand through it.

He was breathtaking.

We looked deep into each other souls and I could feel my stomach erupt into butterflies at our close proximity. I stepped back, my cheeks heating up in embarrassment and cleared my throat after what seemed like years but to only feel my back come in contact with another hard wall.

I turned around to see a 5'8 ft figure, leaning over me like the other one. He's frown was scary as if he was sending me to Hell with his eyes. His dark brown eyes were full of curiosity as his brunette hair was combed to the back.

"What's your name?" the 5'8 ft figure asked in a monotone voice.

"Thea, what's taking you so-" I heard Aubree's voice from down the hallway along with the clicking of her heels. "- jerks, get away from her!"

The boy's eyes widened in fear as he stepped away from me, putting his hands up in the air as if surrendering. I could feel the heat from behind, realizing that the 6'3 ft figure was still very close behind.

Aubree finally came into view as her eyes widened at me. Her eyes darting back and forth a few times before a smirk played on her lips as she grabbed my arm and pulled me towards her.

"Babe, I thought she was bullying you," the one who asked what my name was, said sheepishly.

Aubree frowned. "Marco, meet my stepsister, Thea."

The said one's eyes widened again and smiled at me. "Sorry for the rude introduction."

"It's fine," I replied with a smile.

Aubree pointed to another boy behind Marco, who was the same height as him, but with black hair and light brown eyes. "Thea meet Carl. Carl, Thea."

"Nice to meet you," Carl winked.

I only nodded with a smile as I turned around to see the 6'3 ft figure still staring right at me. I could feel my blush intensifying as I arched an eyebrow at him.

"Thea, meet your certified dick and bad boy, Xavier Walker," she introduced with a hint of sarcasm laced in her voice. "Xavier, meet Thea Pearson."

He only shrugged, giving me one last look before digging his hands into his pockets and turning around in the direction of the cafeteria. Carl and Marco followed his steps behind as they started talking to each other loudly.

"Didn't you say there was four?" I asked, remembering from the conversation we had earlier.

"Yes, Luke, but he's in the cafeteria right now," she waved it off like a fly. "But girl, there was some sexual tension in the freaking air between you and Xavier!"

I groaned. "Nothing is going to happen between us, Aubree."

"I know, did I mention he's a manwhore?" Aubree asked herself. "Anyway, I asked mom for permission to go to the mall after school and she agreed."

"Great," I beamed.

I was about to turn around but Aubree suddenly placed her hands on my shoulders, stopping me from doing so. I gave her a confused look but she only kept her eyes on me and that only made things ten times scarier.

"He's staring at you," my sister whispered, wide-eyed.

Now that I realized, I could feel someone's eyes burning the back of my head and as I turned around to see what my sister was talking about and my jaw immediately dropped whilst a cold shiver ran up my spine at the sight of the school's dangerous, certified bad boy.

I shrugged nervously and turned around to face my sister. "Maybe he's just looking at what I'm wearing."

The outfit was pretty cute, hands down.

"But he never stares at anyone. He has only given them a cold stare that lasts for at least two seconds."

Oh hell no.

"I think you have attracted the school's bad boy," Aubree whispered with a smirk.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, playing dumb as I threw my head back and laughed nervously, still feeling a pair of eyes burning the back of my head.
