My heart isn't beating anymore
All I can hear are dead rhythms
Calling out your name
To be mine once again
Why did you ever become my friend
My only friend?
Why did you leave?
When I told you my deepest fears
You left a scar in my pure heart
A scar that'll never fade
I buried my feelings for you
When you left without a sign
But when you came back
My feelings burned like flames
In my drained heart
The thoughts burned
In my messed up mind
There was no water no more
To put the fire out
My eyes were dry
Dry as an ice
That only melts
From your texts
Those feelings are burning!
Burning my fragile soul
But how can I say that my soul is alive
Because it died a long time ago
I guess every dead body
Shall end in ashes...
