Chapter 47. Eavesdrop Baekhyun

I arch both of my brows signals for a question, but instead, he gave me his own phone as I stared at it blankly, "Auntie wants to talk to you privately," After hearing those words, I automatically jump up. Forming a small bow in front of them before heading behind the huge tree where no one can ever see me. I heave out a sigh and slowly placed the phone on my ear as my hand starts trembling with no reason. I seemed to be scared, why am I like this?

"H-hello?" I tried my best to act normally but I just can't, I can't even control what I'm feeling right now. "Yeonnie-sshi~ how are you? We've missed you so much~ how are you two with Kyungsoo, huh? Are you doing fine? How's the field trip? Is it exciting? Have you both enjoyed it?" The voice of a woman, which is Auntie Taesoo spoke up from the other line with an excitement on her voice.

I don't know why, but hearing her voice, sounds lingering into my ears and.. I've actually missed how she comforted me and always do concern about me. I heave out a smile and a sigh at the same time. A drop of tear suddenly escape from my eyes that makes me curious about it. Why am I starting to cry?

"H-hello? A-auntie?" Why am I whimpering? I look like a crybaby instead! What's the reason for me to cry? How can I explain to myself when I have no reason to cry? What's the matter with me? Am I going crazy?

"O-omo? Taeyeon-sshi, are you crying? Why are you crying? Did somebody hurt you? Please tell me," I quickly wipe the tears away that can possibly escape from my eyes using the back of my palm and flashed a smile, even though they can't actually see my reaction right now.

"I-I'm sorry but.. Thank you for your concern, Auntie. I just.. missed the way you treat me like a precious daughter of yours'. How the way you prepare what's important for me. Thank you so much for all the sacrifice you've did, really," I nod as I look away. "Aigoo. Yeonnie-yah, don't cry just because you've missed me, us. Well, you'll going home later noon, right? Aren't you got excited about it? Besides, you have to enjoy the rest of your time with the Black Pearl members! You've got last 2 minutes before all of the field trip will come to an end anytime soon. Cheer up and always smile, don't waste your precious tears, dear," I smiled on the thought of how Auntie lighten up my mood.
