Chapter 2

Juvias POV
We decided that today we would leave. No one could know, but still we said our goodbyes. I walked up to Gray-sama with a smile acting casual. I sat on a bar stool next to him.

"Hey Juvia, what's up?" Gray-sama said taking a sip of his cold drink.

"Juvia and Gajeel-kun are going on a job, can you look after this for me?" I asked handing him my butterfly broach.

"Ah yeah sure" he said confused.

"Thanks Gray" I said purposely leaving out the normal sama at the end.

"A-are you ok?" He asked as concern filled his voice. I looked down for a minute and my head shot up with a bright smile.

"I'm fine!" I said cheery. I jumped from the bar stool and put on the biggest fake smile I could.

"Bye" I said as I turned around, wanting to stay.

"I'll see you when you get back?" he said in a questioning matter. If I get back I thought as I sighed. I turned around and grabbed Gray-sama's collar and pulled him into a kiss. We stayed like that for a minute and I let a tear fall. I let go as my bangs covered my face. I look up with a sincere smile.

"You will, I promised" I said walking out of the guild and to my room. I get into my room and I slide down my door crying. I sucked it up and remembered that I was doing this for him and I grabbed my things and packed them. I'll be back, I promised.

Grays POV
S-she kissed me. She kissed me. She KISSED me! I thought as a big smile appeared into my face. I started dancing around the guild like and idiot.

"Gray what are you do-" Natsu was cut of when I wrapped my arm around his and span around.

"Why aren't you Mr. Cheery today" Lucy said with a smile.

"This is the happiest day of my life!" I yelled running to Erza and gave her a hug.

"What's wrong with you?" Erza asked obviously not interested.

"Juvia kissed me" I said with a goofy grin.

"S-she did?" She asked me.

"Yep" I said popping to 'p'.

"You seem excited" Erza said taking a bit of her strawberry cake.

"When she gets back, I'm going to tell her that I love her" I said calming down and making Erza choke.

"Y-you are?" She asked. I nodded my head and walked away.

Ezra's POV
Poor Gray I thought as I remembered what Juvia had told me.

Flash back

"Erza-san, if Juvia or Gajeel-kun attacks the guild you must use all force to stop us" she said looking directly into my eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked concerned.

"You mustn't tell anyone but Phantom Lord is back" she said looking down.

"That's ok, we'll defeat them like last time" I said shrugging it off.

"No we can't. Their a lot more powerful then before, their taking over Gajeel-kun's and Juvias body" she sighed.

"What do you mean?" I asked concerned.

"We'll be gone a while trying to stop them, I can't put Gray-sama or anyone else in danger again. All you need to know is if we attack, don't be afraid to kill" she said before turning and walking away.

End of flash back

We must do what she wished. If it comes to it, I'll try to get her back before hand

Gajeels POV
I walked up to levy who was reading book in the corner of the guild.

"Sup shrimp" I said sitting next to her.

"Hey Gajeel" she said looking up from the book causing her glasses to go to the tip of her nose. I gently pushed them up causing us to both blush.

"Are you umm sure about leaving Lilly with me?" She asked nervously.

"Yeah, I trust you more then anyone else" I said looking down to her. I bend down and gently kiss her on the lips. Her eyes went wide with shock but soon they closed. I broke apart and smiled at her.

"I have to go" I said standing up. She grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"Be careful" she said concerned.

"I will" I said giving her a smile. I walked towards Lilly who was sitting with Happy and Carla.

"Look after 'em" I said patting his head and walking out of the guild. Juvia and I agreed we could tell someone each. She told Erza and said use all measures necessary to stop us. I decided to tell Lilly to make sure he looked after everyone, especially Levy. I can't hurt her again I thought as I entered my room and packed. I heard a knock at the door and Juvia walked in. 

"Ready to go?" She asked I shook my head.

"Not really. You?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No, but I'm also not ready to hurt them again. I never will be"
