CarrotFrost's Colorful Silverpelt

Chapter 1

CarrotFrost paced around her camp. stretching her legs and getting exercised before hunting and training. She felt a bit unsafe. her clan was planning to attack Snowclan because of all the hunting SnowClan had done in their territory. but she also had a stomach ache but that didn't matter much. she headed over to LeafPaw, her apprentice and sat gracefully. she learned to be graceful fom her sister RainbowWhisker. "well LeafPaw... want to hunt around the camp we could run around near the lake a few paces between the twolegs maybe, or.. in the middle! I heard there are great juicy squirrels there!" LeafPaw nodded "may I eat first... and can we go with AmberPaw! please!" CarrotFrost purred at the sound of him wanting to travel with AmberPaw because her mentor is CarrotFrost's mate SnowPelt. CarrotFrost nodded "why, of course we can!" she headed over to where SnowPelt was. he purred seeing her in view. "do you want me to hunt with you and LeafPaw with AmberPaw?" CarrotFrost nodded. SnowPelt purred "perfect we were just about to ask you too. lets go". AmberPaw was already with LeafPaw. they were talking to each other near the edge of the entrance. as CarrotFrost was walking over towards the entrance she felt something fuzzy and warm on her hind paw. she smelt not prey, but a warm fuzzy kit. she looked down to see MapleKit. the young She-Cat and her sister CoralKit were part of CarrotFrost's kin. CarrotFrost purred. "Hello MapleKit! id love to play but I have to train LeafPaw-". "hmm... oh MapleKit get back in the nursery!". CarrotFrost recognized that voice as MudWhisker, her littermate. the mate of GoldenPelt. MudWhisker purred against CarrotFrost. they shared tounge's for a few seconds the CarrotFrost went to the entrance next to her mate and left  the camp with the apprentices

as CarrotFrost and the others were walking around the territory. CarrotFrost felt the warm dirt on her paws as she was walking. she had payed attention on what area's had warm dirt that was warmed by the sun. when they got to the best place for hunting SnowPelt started to speak for a bit. "Well, you two have been training for a long time. its likely you'll be warriors by the next gathering" by the thought of that AmberPaw squealed in excitement while purring against LeafPaw. CarrotFrost purred at the sight of them together. they reminded her of SnowPelt. "Now" CarrotFrost finally said. "you two need to practice your hunting crouches. I hear something in the bushes around us that you can sink you claws into" SnowPelt nodded "good idea, AmberPaw you can go first. CarrotFrost was a bit annoyed about SnowPelt about making his apprentice go first. but Amber paw was a bit behind in her training so she deserved to go first. AmberPaw smelt a small Squirrel in the bushes and crouched down and snuck up to it. for being a bit behind AmberPaw was very silent when she snuck up to the squirrel. she flashed into the bushes and pinned the squirrel down biting its neck until it stopped throbbing. AmberPaw picked it up and got out of the bush. both CarrotFrost and SnowPelt looked pleased, so did LeafPaw. then CarrotFrost looked at LeafPaw. "your turn" LeafPaw sniffed around until he smelt something. he crouched down and was a bit faster than AmberPaw. he dashed behind the tree and came back with a big juicy vole in his mouth. SnowPelt was gleaming with greatness and CarrotFrost was too. AmberPaw squealed again. "that catch looks AWESOME! great job LeafPaw". LeafPaw purred and put the vole down "thanks! this will do great for the clan"

when they were done they can back with three squirrels and the vole. "you two get a squirrel and feed the elders and Kits, then grab a squirrel for yourself you look exhausted" they both sighed in relief and ran off with the prey to feed the clan. CarrotFrost started to get a stomach ache. but she thought that she just felt hungry. she grabbed two squirrel but headed to the nursery to give something to eat for GoldenPelt and MagnoliaFlower. GoldenPelt smiled "hi CarrotFrost, hey you don't look so good are you ok?" CarrotFrost  kind of guessed she felt ill herself "I'm just so tired and hungry but I need to feed you first." CarrotFrost felt CoralKit and MapleKit wrap their tails around CarrotFrost's front paws. GoldenPelt chuckled "you kits need to stop trapping CarrotFrost in the nursery." the kits went back to their mother. MagnoliaFlower laughed too "your kits are so playful." CarrotFrost nodded to them purring and left to go get some prey. she sat down next to SnowPelt and ate on a squirrel. as she finished the last gulp she starred at SnowPelt. "well. we will have to practice for battle after the gathering. and don't forget we won't attack any kits, queens or elders. but you know that already don't you" "i hope you do" someone said. CarrotFrost turned her head ready to scold whoever answered her for eavesdropping. when she saw the cat who had spoke she quickly realized that it was WolfStar, their clan leader. SnowPelt gulped down his last gulp of his meal "oh don't worry WolfStar! we would have to be like ScarClan to hurt other clan kits or elders without leaders permission" WolfStar nodded "we cannot hurt anyone if they cant fight. thought its very easy to attack a kit or elder

WolfStar left to his den. AmberPaw came running to SnowPelt. "hey SnowPelt? LeafPaw and I really want to go to the battle. will we be able to fight?" SnowPelt thought about it for a moment then nodded "you will be warriors before we even battle. so yes, you will come to the battle". AmberPaw squeaked in excitement and ran back to the apprentices den. CarrotFrost sighed. they had planned this battle since she was an apprentice. since RainFeather the old medicine cat and BreezeSong CarrotFrost's mentor were alive. and now its was finally the last moon before battle. CarrotFrost felt someone's fur brush against hers besides SnowPelt's she turned to find SquirrelPool, her other littermate next to her "oh Hi SquirrelPool!" "hi, what are you doing" "trying to relax Mousebrain! what do you think I'm doing here?" SquirrelPool shrugged and started to walk away. she acted like a deputy but she wasn't really. their real deputy was SwiftStream, that cat was always acting tough but acted  kind to kits and well skilled warriors of her clan, but she was still kind to all her clanmates. CarrotFrost padded over to the warriors den, for it was almost Silverpelt. she rested her eyes and a couple minutes later found herself lying next to SnowPelt. the smell of his soft and smooth pelt made CarrotFost go sound to sleep
