END ESSENTIALS

After your climax, it's time for the main character to solve the problem. This is what you call the end of the story. Like the climax, try and make it harder for the character to solve the problem. As this is always my example, in The Hunger Games, Katniss doesn't win the games right away. She had to go through many different challenges before she won. That's what you should do in your story.

Here are the essentials for the falling action of a story:

-Make sure it's less dramatic than the climax

-Tie up the loose ends of the climax

-Resolve the confict

-Most authors try to end at a cliff-hanger

-Falling Action is important because it tells the reader what happens. How would you like it if Katniss won the Hunger Games, and the book ended there?

-Make sure something happens. It's not just "Falling", it's "Falling Action"

-Resolve everything! Unless you're planning on a series, don't leave any problem unsolved.

I hope your story is good with its beginning, climax, and end!
