When It All Goes Wrong

::::::Two weeks later::::::
I wake up to someone shaking me.
"Gunner?" I proclaim.
"Get up I need your help with something." He said in a distressed yet calm voice.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Today is the day." He says.
"Oh." I say.
I stand and pull my hair back up. Today is the day that Bella is due and after today Gunner will call the Vipers to come and take her to the government. Gunner sighs and we begin to walk to Bella's room. I open the door to Bella's room.
"Morning Baby Momma." I say cheerfully.
"Morning Lover girl." She smirks, pain in her eyes.
"You ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." She faked a smile.
I fake one too until we are interrupted by Piper walking in.
"Let's get this over with." She says.
Bella rolls her eyes and smiles.
::::::TimeSkip cause I don't know how to/or want to describe birth::::::
I hold the newborn boy in my hands. I smile and hand the kid to Bella. A tear of joy rolls down her face.
"Piper go tell the others."
Piper nods and soon enough everyone is in the room. Gunner nears Bella and looks at the kid and smiles. Soon enough I feel a hand around my waist and I am pulled closer to Thomas. I look up and we smile to each other before looking back to Bella. Lauren and Vince mimic Thomas and I except Lauren pulls Vincent closer. Gunner goes back to the doorway with Piper as they look at Bella. Bella then kisses the baby boys head and whispers,
"Welcome to the world, Axel."
We all smile before the silence is interrupted by Kelsey yelling,
"Party time!"
And soon enough Kelsey, Lauren, Eryn, Piper, and Vince leave the room to start the birthday party for Axel.
I smile and look to Thomas,"A party huh."
He smirked,"Sounds good."
He then kisses my forehead,"Better go check on those lunatics."
He then leaves the room and I join him.

::::::Bella's Pov::::::
I hold Axel in my arms and sit in silence. He had Carson's eyes, and my brown hair. He had Carson's smile. He was so small, like Carson. Gunner fake coughs and walks to me.
"Hey Bella we need to talk." He said.
"Yeah..." I say.
"Well I want you to know I did this all out of your safety. I contacted the Vipers and they will be picking you and Alex-"
"It's Axle." I spit like venom.
"You and Axle will be shipped to Washington DC. in the morning to be sent to the government. There you two will be taken care of and you will be helped."
"So you are sending me away." I yell, setting Axel in a blanket on the floor.
I stand.
"No I want you to be okay!" Gunner yells.
He's ditching me cause he doesn't want to deal with a person with a kid. I can handle myself fine! At least I think I can.
"You know what. Fine." I say picking up Axel," We will be better off there anyway."
And like that I leave the room.

:::Rachael's Pov::
I walk into Eryn's room.
"Wassup." She says.
I do my salute and walk to her.
"Got anything to wear cause this won't be fun to dance in." I say.
Eryn's face lights up and she digs in her bag till she pulls out a short black dress and galaxy converse.
"Perfect." I say running to the corner of the room.
"Turn around." I say.
I change into the black dress. It was rather tight but very comfortable and the converse were perfectly sized.
"Thanks Eryn." I smile and she smirks.
"Looks great. You want to see what I'm wearing?" She says.
I nod and she scavenged through her bag until she pulls out a nice pair of jeans and a rather expensive shirt. The shirt had a symbol on it and read in cursive Always.
"I love it!" I squeal.
She leaves the room and comes back in wearing the outfit.
"Nice." I say.
"I know right." She says.
Kelsey, Lauren, and Piper walk in wearing different outfits. Kelsey smiles.
"Who's ready to Party?!?" She exclaims rather loud.
"Me." Everyone yells.
"Gunner got the principals laptop to work and connect with the gym speakers." Piper says excited.
"Sweet!" Eryn says.
"Well let's go!" Lauren says pulling us out of the room.

We walk into the gym and see Gunner at a desk in the corner with a laptop. In another corner is Vince and Thomas talking. Thomas looks over and begins to stare. I smile and wave him over. He and Vincent walk over to us.
"H-hey guys." Thomas says.
Vincent laughs and goes to Lauren and grabs her hand as they go to the corner to talk.
I smile at Thomas and he returns the gesture. Then I was pushed straight into him by Eryn.
"Stop staring at eachother and just hang out you dorks." She laughed.
Piper snickered and Thomas holds out his hand and I take it as we walk out to the folding tables set out on the left side of the gym.
He pulls out a seat and I sit.
"M'lady." He says in a posh voice.
"Thank you good sir." I say in a fake posh voice.
We both laugh and smile. The lights go low and a disco ball comes out of nowhere.
"That was probably Eryn's idea." I laugh.
"Not a bad one." Thomas smiled.
Just then Gunner puts on a slower song.
I face palm.
"Come on." I mumble to myself.
Thomas looks to me and holds out his hand,"Care for a dance."
I laugh,"Sure why not. Just warning you I can't dance for shit."
We walk to the dance floor where Lauren and Vince already were and Piper, Eryn, and Kelsey were doing that 'white girl dance circle'.
The music was blasting and it was a song I knew.
I found myself dreaming
In silver and gold

I put my head on Thomas's shoulder and wrap my arms around him as he sways back and forth.
We were walking on moonlight
And you pulled me close
Split second and you disappeared
And then I was all alone
I look over to Gunner who is making the okay symbol with his hands and 'cheesy winking'. I roll my eyes and smile at him.
So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
And I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye

'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

The rest of the night was great. I hung out with Thomas and my friends and saw Bella once or twice. She didn't seem very happy but I did all I could to make her feel better.
At the end of the nigh I went back to my room and drifted off to sleep.
::::::TimeSkip to Morning::::::
I frown and hand the truck driver the final bag. I look to Bella who is hugging Gunner. Tears run down her face. Gunner and her finally break apart.
"Stay safe." He says.
"Same for you." She says choking on tears.
She walks to me and smiles.
"You take care of this dork and keep him out of trouble." She smiles, gesturing to Gunner.
I laugh,"That was already my plan."
I smile and hug her before she climbs into the truck with Axel in hand.
"Goodbye." She yells.
I wave and Gunner comes to me.
"How do you know she will be let in?" I ask.
"DC is taking in anyone pregnant that is under 18 with a child a month old or younger." He says.
"Oh." I say,"how do you know the Vipers are actually taking her there?"
"Because anyone with her can also come in." He smirks.
"What's on the other side?" I ask.
"I'm not sure. But what I'm hearing is its a war zone. The parts that aren't infected are basically in a fight to the death. DC is the only place that's not affected by this." He says.
"Wow." I say.
"Yep there's nowhere to run now."
