Chapter One

Three years ago

I was young when I first meet him. A child. We played together , told each other secrets, and went to school together. Every single thing we did was together. It all changed when we started growing up. He joined plays and music class. I joined AP classes. When we were younger we liked the same things. Now we didn't talk as often. It changed a whole lot when he joined the X factor. But things change. And they did for me.
"Louis Tomlinson, you're up," a man said.
"Wish me good luck!" Louis called out.
"C'mon Lou!! You can do it!" I called out. We watched him backstage. He sang my favorite song. I was surprised he remembered it. I zoned out for a while.
* Flashback *
"Ebony!!" Louie called out. I turned around. He was holding a guitar.
"Yes, Boobear?" I replied.
"I learned your favorite song," he said panting.
"Hey There Delilah?" I asked.
"Yep!"
"Play it for me!!" He started to play. I hummed along. I laughed.
"What?!"
"No singing?" He blushed and shook his head.
"Thank you for learning the song for me! I gotta go! Bye!"
"Bye!"
* End of Flashback *

"THREE YES's!!!!!!!!" Louis cried out as he returned. I hugged him. I was so happy for him. Then a terrible thought struck me.
"Lou? What's gonna happen? To our friendship if you become famous? You won't have time for me. At all," I said worrying.
"I'll make time for my best friend all the time. I promise," he said smiling. But he didn't keep it.
