Chapter Forty One (Christmas Special)

Mason laid in his crib, his little face red from the crying he had done. I lifted him up, I could smell his diaper from where I was, he stunk. I laid him on the changing mat and quickly I changed the stink that came from his diaper. He soon calmed down and I laid him back in his cot, he soon fell asleep. I changed in to my Christmas onesie and I climbed in to bed. I switched on the television and watched Mrs Miracle. Alec walked in with a smile on his face. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas." Alec says smirking. "You're worst than the boys." I chuckle. He walks over to the wardrobe. "Not again." I sigh. Alec smiles as he puts his Santa suit by the bed. "Have you moved the presents?" I ask him, he smiles. "Sure have." He says smiling. "How are you going to do it all by yourself?" I ask him. "Santa always has elves." Alec says smiling. "What time are you and your elves going?" I ask him. "Soon." He says smiling. "Whose coming tomorrow?" I ask. "Well your mom and my mom are coming in the morning to get started on dinner.. The rest of them are coming over after 12. My brothers, Your brother. My sisters, Your sister. Bolt, Hailey, Aubury, Theo, Coop. I'm not sure who else. I think a few of my cousins are in town." Alec says shrugging. "So a big Christmas." I say. "Yep." Alec says smiling. "I hope I get something good." I say looking at Alec, he smiles. "I only picked it up from the store today." He says. "What is it with you guys and last minute shopping?" I ask him, he smirks. "I don't know." He says shrugging. "What did you get the boys?" I ask him. "You'll have to wait until Santa brings them." Alec says standing up out the bed, he begins stripping and he puts the Santa costume on. "Shall I stuff my stomach?" He asks looking at me. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure they all think Santa is a fat jolly man." I say smiling. "I can be fat and Jolly." He says putting a pillow inside his costume. "How do I look?" He asks as he puts his beard on. "Like a sexy santa." I say winking at him. "My elves are here." Alec chuckles. "I'll drop the boys presents first." Alec says. "I'll see you in the morning." Alec says smiling. "Okay." I say, he kisses my lips and then he disappears out the door. I hear his footsteps going down the stairs as he opens the door, I could hear several more footsteps coming in and out of the house. "HO HO HO." I hear from downstairs and I couldn't help but chuckle. What an ass. My bedroom door opens a little and Eli comes running in. "Mom did you hear that!" He says jumping on the bed. "Hear what?" I ask sleepily. "He's here." Eli whispers. "Well we better go to sleep before he realises you're awake." I say. "Can I sleep with you mommy?" He asks. "Sure." I say, he climbs in the bed and soon he drifts off to sleep. I close my eyes joining him in a deep slumber.

Christmas Day

"Mommy wake up. We made you breakfast." Eli says from beside me. "Merry Christmas babe." Alec says putting the tray in front of me, they had made eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and two slices of toast, they made me a glass of orange juice. "This looks amazing." I say with a smile. "I done it all." Jett says climbing at the end. "Have you done your presents yet?" I ask. Jett and Eli shake their heads. "We were waiting for you mommy." Eli says with a smile. "Okay i'll eat this and be right down." I say smiling. Alec walks over to the cot and lifts out Mason. "The twins are in their high chairs." Alec says carrying Mason out. "Is your Nanna's here yet?" I ask. "they both are. Coop and Theo are down stairs. They're opening their presents here." Jett says smiling. "Okay I'll hurry up." I say smiling. The boys leave while I eat my breakfast. Once I had finished I had brushed my teeth and changed in to a blue Christmas jumper and a pair of black jeans. "Well don't we look adorable." Alec says, he was wearing the exact same jumper. His and Hers I guess. I smiled. "We sure do." I say walking towards the door which he was blocking. "You can get out my way now." I say smiling. He grins and looks up. He had placed a mistletoe above our head. "It's the rules." He says smiling. He leans forward and puckers his lips. I chuckle as I lean in and I kiss him. "Merry Christmas babe." He says again. "Merry Christmas honey." I say kissing him again. "Alec I told you to get Olivia not distract her!" My mom calls from the bottom of the stairs. "Sorry Mom." Alec calls back chuckling, he takes my hand and leads me downstairs. "Merry Christmas Olivia." My mom says hugging me. "Merry Christmas mom." I say smiling. "Merry Christmas Dad, Agnes and Arthur." I say smiling. "Where is dad?" I ask. "He and Arthur have started drinking early." My mom says rolling her eyes. I chuckle. "Mommy's downstairs!" Eli calls running in to the kitchen, he had on his green Christmas Jumper with a pair of blue jeans. "Hi Aunty Olivia!" Cooper and Theo say walking in. They looked so different. "Hi Boys." I say smiling. "Can we open our presents now?" Jett asks. "Sure I've put them in to piles." Alec says walking out the living room. "We'll be right in." My mom says as she quickly disappears in to the kitchen. My dad and Arthur appear out the dining room chuckling. We all head in to the living room and we hand out presents. "Mom this is for you. From the boys." I say smiling as I hand her the present. "Thank you." She says ripping it open. "It's perfect." She says lifting up an apron with 'World's Best Nan' written across it. She beams radiantly. "What's this?" Jett says holding up a large box. "Open it and find out." My dad says smiling. "It's from dad." He says smiling as he rips it open. "Sweet a drone!" Jett says jumping up excitedly. "I wasn't going to get you another bike, you've got enough." Alec says smiling. All the kids have fun ripping their presents. "Oh wow Grandad got me a boat." Eli says lifting his boat up. He smiles. "I thought we could go boating some time, I used to love it as a kid." My dad says smiling. "That sound's great Grandad." Eli says smiling. "Aren't you going to open your presents mommy?" Eli asks looking at me. "I will but I don't want to miss you guys opening yours. You missed a present Eli." I say pointing to the tree. There was a large present, the outline exposed what is was. "You didn't." I say glaring at Alec. Eli runs over and rips the paper off it. "A bike!" Eli says grinning widely. Infront of us was a black bike with silver stripes, it had his name printed on the side in white. "Cool!" Jett says jumping up. I stand up and I walk in to the kichen, Alec follows behind me. I spin on my heels so he collides in to me. "I'm not going to argue with you because it's Christmas. But you do have some explaining to do." I say pushing past him and walking back in to the living room just as Colton ripped open his present. "Wow!" He exclaims as he see's the buzz light year toy. He holds it up proudly. Alec switches on the radio and Christmas music begins to play. "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful and since we've no place to go. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!." Alec sings as he lifts up Colton. "It doesn't show signs of stopping and I've bought some corn for popping the lights are turned way down low Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" Arthur sings to Agnes with a smile. "When we finally kiss good night how I'll hate going out in the storm! But if you'll really hold me tight. All the way home I'll be warm" My dad sings as he wraps his arm around my mom. "You guys have definitely been drinking." I chuckle.  "The fire is slowly dying and, my dear, we're still goodbying. But as long as you love me so Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" Alec says kissing my lips. "I flushed. "That was ultra cheesy." I say. "Come on babe, get in the Christmas spirit." Alec chuckles. "Christmas Spirit is my middle name." I say smiling. The next song comes on and I stand up. "It's the most wonderful time of the year. With the kids jingle belling, And everyone telling you, "Be of good cheer," It's the most wonderful time of the year." I sing as I begin to dance with Eli. He giggles. "There'll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting and carolling out in the snow. There'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases. Long, long ago." I sing, Jett stands up and I twirl him in a circle, He smiles. From the corner of my eye I could see Alec with a smirk on his face. I drop the boys hands and I strode towards Alec with a smirk on my face. "It's the most wonderful time of the year. There'll be much mistletoeing and hearts will be glowing, when loved ones are near. It's the most wonderful time of the year." I say. He kisses me. "That was perfect." He chuckles. The door bell rings and my mom and Agnes head back in to the kitchen. "I'll get it. Could you get started on the wrapping paper up off the floor." I say smiling at Alec. "Sure." He says with a smile. I walk over to the door  "Merry Christmas!" I say happily pulling it open. "Merry Christmas Liv." Jordan says with a smile. He walks in Holding Phoebe's hand. "Hi, thanks for having me." She says with a smile. I beam. "It's not a problem, head on to the living room, they're all in there." I say smiling as the next set of guests arrive. Soon enough everyone was here and the fun was about to begin.
