It could have been something new could have been so good
She said as he closed the door on his heart.

She had no time left, for him to get himself together, his petty excuses hurt her head, every time he talked she just wanted him to shut his noise.

He could have had something good, but he went to find himself, now she isn't around, and it seems he is still lost in his own wilderness.

She walks on, taller than before,
She doesn't need him by her side
She can do this on her own
She places his love, on the shelf with all the others.

She doesn't need his excuses, or his pity.
He loved himself too much, so there was none left for her
And now she walks on taller
Laughs a little louder
Thoughts of him have left her mind, and her heart is free.
