I woke up to feel my face pressed up against something hard. Something heavy was wrapped around me, but it felt comfortable.

I opened my eyes to see hard thing was actually Mark's chest and his arm was rapped tightly around me.

He was sound asleep and I had never seen him like this before. He looked like an innocent child who had no care in the world. This was the most peaceful I had ever seen him.

I peered around, realising we were laying on the back of the pickup truck.

"Morning London Girl." I jumped at Mark's voice.

His voice sounded husky and his blonde hair was sticking out in different directions, but he still managed to look hot.

"Morning." I replied, trying to put some distance between us. However, he kept his arm securely wrapped around me.

"I probably look like a mess." I said out loud. I could picture my panda eyes from the mascara and eye liner I was wearing last night.

"This is definitely not your best look." A smirk appeared on his face and I smacked him on his chest.

"Thanks for making me feel better." I told him sarcastically.

"I only tell the truth London girl." He said smugly.

"We better go." I said.

"What's the point when we can spend as long as we want here?" He asked with a wink.

"Weirdo." I muttered and sat up, flattening my bed hair down with my hands.

He got up too and put the blankets away.

We were finally in the car and on our way back home.

I felt my arm aching and looking down at it to see a huge, purple bruise. That's when the memories of last night came rushing back. Hayden and the party.

"Do you think Hayden's going to do something to get back at you?" I asked, worry lacing my words.

Mark carried on looking at the road in front, but I could see the anger in his eyes when he remembered what had happened at the party.

"He'll go running back and tell his mates. They will definitely come to pay me and the guys a visit and I bet they'll be interested in you. " He said in disgust, just thinking about the RiverWood gang.

"You need to stay with me or one of the guys when you are not home. It's not safe for you to be alone." He added, turning to look at me sternly.

I nodded.

"Seriously? You agreed this quick?" He said, faking shock. "I thought you would say something like, 'I'm not a child, I don't need a babysitter." He tried saying it with a high pitched girly voice.

"You have a point about them coming. I kind of don't want what happened last night to happen again." I replied with honesty.

He nodded in understanding and the rest of the drive remained in silence.

Once we reached my house, he parked outside and jumped out.

I looked at him in confusion. Wasn't he going to go back to his house? Surely his parents would be worried about him.
