Ava and I stood in front of my wardrobe, trying to figure out what I should wear to the party.

"How about this?" Ava asked whilst pulling out a red dress. "Try it on."

This dress was on of my favourites. It was see through at the top with some lace but flowed out slightly at the bottom. It was sleeveless and stopped just above my knee.

I slipped it on, making sure not to ruin my hair and makeup.

My hair hung in loose curls and I had done my makeup more bolder than usual.

"What do you think?" I asked Ava, twirling around so she could see it properly.

"Red is definitely your colour." She told me.

Finally satisfied with my outfit, I paired it was gold heels and dangling earrings.

"How come you and the other boys aren't coming?" I asked as I waited for Mark to arrive.

"Because Ryan is an idiot." She replied.

I looked at her questioningly and then she carried on.

"Peter asked Ryan if he would go on a double date with him and Victoria. That idiot agreed even though he doesn't have a girlfriend! So now they are dragging me along with them. How fun!" She added the last part full of sarcasm.

"I feel sorry for you."

"Oh and Kian's babysitting his niece tonight." She added.

Her phone beeped so she quickly checked it and then sighed.

"It's Ryan. He says he'll pick me up in half an hour. I better go home and get ready." She said.

"Okay. Let me know how it goes." I told her with a laugh.

She groaned just thinking about tonight and said, "I will."

"Bye." We both said to one another.

After she left, I checked my phone to see if Mark had texted me. However, at the same time there was a knock at the door.

I quickly stood up and placed my phone into my bra. I couldn't be bothered carrying a clutch around all night.

I opened the door to be greeted by Mark. He was wearing a red and black checkered shirt with his usual leather jacket on top, and a pair of jeans.

"Wow." He said, eyeing me from top to bottom.

I smiled slightly embarrassed.

"Ready to go?" I asked him awkwardly.

His eyes snapped away from my body and back over to my face.

"Yep. The party started half an hour ago so we should leave now." He replied.

A pick up truck was parked behind him which reminded me of the conversation I had with the boys, the first day I got here.

"I'm not getting into that pick up truck if you have stolen it."

"It's my dad's. Plus I would force you anyway if I had stolen it." He said back smugly.
