I hate you, right?

Chapter thirteen- What is he doing?

   "Mallori!"

Turning my head, I seen Masaomi and Anri running up to me. 

   "Where have you been!?"

   "Well...its a long story. I'll explain everything at lunch."

   "Sounds good!"

Masaomi wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and started making corny jokes. 

   "Where's Mikado?"

   "Oh, he had to talk to a teacher, so he's inside already."

   "I see."

The bell rang, and everyone piled into their seats. I didn't pay much attention to the teacher. I just continued looking outside. 

   "I wonder..."

   "Miss Shay!"

   "Huh? What?"

   "Are you having any thoughts you'd like to share with the class?"

   "N-No."

   "I bet she's thinking the information broker."

I seen two girls laugh in the corner, and I rolled my eyes. Whatever.

   "Okay, Mallori. Explain yourself."

Masaomi crossed his arms, and smiled. 

   "Alright, so here's how it started."

Trying not to go into detail, I explained the story the best I could. 

   "What happened when Izaya found you!?"

   "Well..."

I rubbed the back of my head, and smiled. 

   "Tell us when you're ready."

   "Well, I was so excited to see him, I hugged him, I guess."

They all stared at me, waiting for me to explain more. 

   "He carried me home, helped me into bed, and left me alone after that."

   "HE HELPED YOU INTO BED!?"

A few tables stopped and stared at us, but then went back to eating. 

   "Y-Yes."

   "What happened the next day?"

   "I left to go on a walk, and ended up hanging out Shizuo. While he was in the store, I ended getting myself stabbed by a group of wannabe gangsters. Izaya took me to a err...doctor and he helped me out."

   "And when you got home?"

They all continued staring at me, obviously interested in the story.

   "After that the days were just kind of boring. Nothing else really happened."

My words were quick, and I looked down at the table. 

   "I'm not buying it."

   "I also think something else happened."

   "F-Fine. I...may or may not have kissed Izaya."

   "You spoke to quiet. I couldn't hear you."

   "I said...I kissed Izaya."

Mikado spit his drink out, and their eyes widened. 

   "YOU WHAT!?"
