"Dad."I said more as a question

"Hope is that really you."

"Yeah it is."I sighed

I thought I will never see my dad again. When I was 13 my dad came home and him and my mom got to arguing.

He knew she was cheating, he wanted to stay for the sake of my brother and I but my mom kicked him out anyways.

I wanted to go with my dad no lie but I had to stay with my mom.

I looked at him and let go of Kaden pulling him in a hug.

"Who is this."He asked looking at Kaden

"Um....this is my boyfriend Kaden."I said

Kaden looked nervous. He scratched in his hair before reaching out his hand for my dad to shake it and he did.

"Where were you headed to."I asked

"I was actually leaving the mall."
"Hope how about you and your boyfriend have dinner at my place tonight."He smiled

I looked back at Kaden and he smiled nodding his head.

"I would love that see you soon."I said
and hugged him

He went down the escalator and Kaden out our hands back together.

"Are you going to tell him about you know woohoo."He asked pointing to my stomach

"Of course, I hope he doesn't do like my mom did."I sighed

"He shouldn't babe."He said patting my head

We went into more stores. Kaden almost got kicked out of one cause a lady thought he was stealing. Poor baby.

Kaden dropped me off at Melissa. I was happy now. Kaden and I are together and I have my dad back I hope.

When I tell him I hope he doesn't hate me for what I have done.

Melissa was doing her art project that was due three damn weeks ago.

"Melissa just give up you been trying to turn this project in for a month."I said picking up the poster that only had her name on it

"No I will get this done."She picked up her paint but put it back down and went in her bed

"I'm going out with Kaden tonight."I said

"Where y'all going."She asked

"I saw my dad today at the mall and he invited us to dinner."I said

"You going to tell him."

"Yeah I am."I smiled

"Well good luck."She hugged me and I hugged her back tighter

Around 4:30 I took my shower to get ready. For my outfit I put on my black stretchy skinny jeans, a dark blue and white tie-dye shirt and I put on my black flats.

After I was done putting my clothes on I grabbed cross body purse and sprayed some perfume on.

I went back to my bathroom to do my hair. I turned my Pandora on and started dancing. I forgot all about doing my hair. Kaden called and told me he was up the street and I haven't even did one strand of my hair.

I quickly straightened my hair and curled the ends loosely. I jogged down the steps and on the way down Melissa was sleep on her poster.

I said bye to Melissa parents and went outside to Kaden car. When I got in he kissed my lips.

"You look handsome."I smiled

"I try."He smirked popping his collar

I rolled my eyes and smiled. My dad sent me directions to his house. We pulled up in front of a very nice house.

When we get up to the porch I don't know why but I was scared to ring the bell. Kaden ended up doing it.

The door opened and it was my auntie. She squealed and pulled me in a hug.

"What you doing here tete."I asked

"Your daddy told me you were coming so I had to come and see you."She smiled
She looked past me and looked at Kaden.

"Who's this."She asked

"My boyfriend."I said

She squealed and pulled Kaden in a hug. I laughed at my crazy auntie and the look on Kaden face.

We walked in the house and I hugged my dad.

"Hi Hope and Kaden."He said smiling at us

I'm glad my dad is liking Kaden so far. Dinner wasn't ready yet so they made Kaden and I stay in the living room.

"Hope please don't chicken out on telling your dad about the baby."He whispered

"I'm scared now."I sighed

"Don't be."He grabbed my hand and rubbed it

"Hope can I talk to you."My auntie came in the living room

"Sure."I said and got off the couch

We went into the hall near the bathroom.

"Girl what is this about you being pregnant."She said and my eyes widened

"You overheard us."I squealed

"Yes."She sighed

"Do you hate me."I asked on the verge of tears

"Baby no, don't cry."She hugged me
"I'm happy for you, why you think I hate you."She asked

"My mom hates me now and Rico doesn't want anything to do with me."I explained

"Girl me and your daddy here for you make sure you tell him, and that boy Kaden is here for you too I like him."She said and I smiled

"How you think he will take it."

"He will be happy for you, he won't down you like your low down momma did."

"Okay."I said wiped my tears

During dinner my dad and Kaden was having their talk me and my auntie had ours. My dad instantly fell in love with Kaden when Kaden told he plays football.

So of course the whole dinner they had a football talk. Afterwards my auntie nudged me.

"Kenneth Hope has something to tell you."My auntie said

"Huh oh yeah uh...."I trailed off

"Girl tell your daddy before I hit you."

Kaden looked at me waiting for me to talk too.

"Daddy I'm pregnant."I shot out

He was silent then looked at me. He started walking towards me.
