One Small Mistake

Chapter. 5

Hope**

I hate that Kaden has to miss this appointment and I have to miss him play the big game but I couldn't do anything about it.

I tried but they were booked in the morning and I couldn't do it another day. It was Friday and Melissa and I decided not to go to school today since we worked hard all week and since I have that appointment.

I was in the bathroom doing my hair and I looked in the mirror at my belly. It was just a small baby bump only noticeable when I wear tight shirts.

Nobody at school knows that in pregnant cause I don't go off showing my baby bump. When it gets bigger that's when people will find out that I'm pregnant.

I don't like the attention at all but that's something I have to deal with with 8 and 9 months.

When I was done doing my hair Melissa told me it was almost time for us to go. I put on my clothes and grabbed my purse.

We got into the car and started our way to the hospital.

"Was Kaden mad that he couldn't make it."Melissa asked

"He wasn't mad he was kinda upset he couldn't make it."I responded

"Can I ask one question."She said looking at me

"What is that."

"Do you have feelings for him."

I had to think before I even answered her. I looked at her then back down at my hands thinking.

"I mean, he's my baby daddy yeah but should I have feelings for him."I asked

"I see the way he looks at you now, and it be so cute come on I know you noticed it too."She smiled

"I don't want to get ahead of myself with him so please don't put stuff in my head Melissa."

"Okay I won't."

The light turned green and we drove forward. I looked out the window and saw the sun setting. I wonder what Kaden doings right now.

I was happy when we got to the hospital so I can get this appointment over with.

"I wonder will I swell up like all pregnant women."I asked Melissa

"My mom did she looked bloated all the time."

"You know I wasn't look for that type of answer but alright."I said and she laughed

I shook my head and we went to the waiting room. After I signed Kaden popped up in front of me. He was wearing his football jersey and his regular clothing.

"Kaden what you doing here."I asked

"Aw I knew he was gone come."Melissa cooed

She walked off smirking at me.

"I don't care about the game, I wanted to be here for you."

"But you always be at the doctor with me you could have missed this one."

"I couldn't I feel like I will miss so much."

"But what about the game."

"I lied to coach that I was sick and had to go to the doctor."

I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks Kaden."

The lady called my name and we went to the back.

"Okay what about Becca."Kaden said

"Ew that's a ugly name."I said in disgust

We found out that we are having a girl and Kaden is extra excited.

"Okay you give me a name."He said

"I like the name Faith."I smiled

"I give you that but it's more names out there we will find more."

We walked out the doctors office and to the parking lot. I was going to Melissa car but he grabbed me pulling me back.

"What's up with you Kaden."I asked

"There's another reason why I came."He said and his cheeks started to get red

"What."

He grabbed my chin and pulled me in a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed him back. Our kiss was broken from Melissa squealing and jumping around the car.

"Kaden why-."He cut me off by pecking my lips again

"I like you a lot."

"You must have started liking me after this baby situation."

"No I swear to you, I liked you for so long, I surprised myself when I kissed you."His face turned red and I smiled
"Another thing lets have a real relationship boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Are you serious."

"Yes, and I am."He smiled

I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.

"Yes I would love to be your girlfriend, and after this you better not turn to a dick towards me."I glared at him and he laughed

"I won't babe."

My heart dropped when he called me babe. He kissed my lips again and I smiled.

I heard sniffling and turned to find Melissa crying.

"She so god damn emotional."I sighed and Kaden laughed

"Call me when you get home."

"I will."

Later...

"HOPE AND KADEN SITTING IN THE TREE-."

"Melissa do me and the baby a huge ass favor and shut the fuck up."I laughed and she turned to me smiling

"I'm just so happy for you, finally you two together."She smiled and I did too

"I know."A big smile grew on my face

Saturday...

Kaden and I were looking at baby clothes in a baby store. I was looking through the summer clothes when Kaden came up behind me.

"Kaden why."I asked trying not to laugh at the outfit

It was a pink version of dark Vader with the mask and everything.

"Isn't it cute."He asked holding it up

"One by the time she's born it will be summer two I'm not having our baby going around like that."I said
"But it is cute."I smiled and he smiled too

He put it back on the racks. After awhile we walked out the store. Kaden grabbed my hand shocking me for a bit but I got used to him holding my hand.

We were walking into Zumiez from the escalator. When I bumped into a man.

"I'm sorry sir."I said

He turned around and my eyes widened.

"Dad."
