One Small Mistake

Chapter. 3

Kaden**

I was pacing back and forth in my room. I sat down in my desk chair and rubbed in my hair. I really need to stop rubbing on my hair like this or my pull it out one day.

"You coming for dinner or what."She asked

"Um yeah."
"Mom you know Hope right."I asked

"Yeah I do what about her."

"Um.....nothing never mind I forgot."I said

I slapped my forehead and groaned.

"Well, okay let's hurry up and eat."

"I will be down there soon."

I'm the most biggest idiot ever. My  younger brother Leland came downstairs and he hit my back.

"What."I asked

"Tell me."He whispered

"Tell you what."I frowned

"You have that face like something going on tell me."

"Don't tell mom yet, but Hope is pregnant and the baby is mine."

"SHE-."I covered his mouth before he said anything else
"She's pregnant."He whispered
"And you the father."

"Yes now don't say shit okay."

"I cross my heart I won't, but you're one lucky fella."He said and I shook my head

Hope**

I was sitting in the bed with Melissa and we was just listening to music. Her parents accepted me into their home and I couldn't be more grateful.

It was close to the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep. So much happened today I need to process it all.

My phone started ringing and Kaden name was popped up on the screen.

I swiped the screen and answered it.

"How are you feeling."He asked

"I'm fine, did you tell your mom the news."I said

"Um...yeah I did."He said

"I'm guessing she took okay."

"Yeah she did."He sighed

"You alright Kaden."I asked

He seemed kind of out of it.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"I will see you tomorrow Kaden."I said

We both hung up the phone.

"Sooo did he tell his mom."Melissa asked

"He say he did, she took it well I guess."I responded

All of a sudden she squealed clapping her hands. I looked at her like she was crazy which she is.

"How about we skip school tomorrow since it's Friday."She whispered

"And where the hell we gone go."I said shaking my head

"The mall find some baby stuff."

"It's too early for that but it won't hurt to just look."I smiled

She cheered and hugged me. I got out the bed to take me a shower.

*Next Day*

I woke up the next morning with Melissa ass shaking me to death. I lifted my head up and she was hovering me smiling. I don't know how I got back in her room last night.

Her parents have a guest room and that my room but I guess I felt lonely and went in her room.

"My parents gone lets get this day started."She yelled jumping on the bed

"And you're my friend because."I mumbled flopping my head on the pillow

I was being pulled out the bed and downstairs.

"What we doing."I whined

"To eat."She said

"How can you be so happy in the morning."I asked

"Cause it's Friday and I'm with my best friend ever."She cooed hugging me

I smiled shaking my head.

"Are you sure your parents won't find out we skipping."I asked

"They shouldn't, right after they left I called the school saying we won't be there and I texted Kaden for you saying you won't be there too."She smiled

I looked at her and she kept smiling. She know I don't like her going through my phone.

"You know what I'm gone let that slide."I said

I was on the floor in Melissa room, I just started thinking. I'm pregnant with my best friends baby, my mom kicked me out and now I'm staying with my friend for awhile.

How much stuff can happen in this week. I was knocked out my thoughts and I looked up to see Melissa.

"Come on let's get ready."She helped me off the floor and I whined

"Do we have to leave now."I sighed

"Yes and K.H wants to leave too."I looked at her confused

"Who the hell is K.H."I asked

"That baby it's the letter of your first name and Kaden letter of his first name."She explained

"Oohh that's cute I'm going to start calling the baby that."I smiled 

I rubbed my stomach and I noticed something weird.

"I'm getting a bump."I said shocked

"That's what pregnant women do when there's a baby growing in there."She said like I was slow

"I didn't expect to get one this early."I looked down at my stomach and rubbed it

"The baby will be so cute."She said in a deep voice

"Okay enough attacking my stomach let's put some clothes on and leave."I laughed
