I half smiled at Thor. He smiled back. I looked down then back at Thor.
"Can you tell the others that I left? Don't worry I know how to get back to the base. Just let Fury know that I need to be alone. And, don't come looking for me. I just want some time to think," I say.
"I'll tell the others. All I'll tell them is you needed some alone time to think," Thor says.
"Thanks."
"Your welcome."
I hug Thor again. He hugs me back. We shortly release each other.
"I'm going to go now," I say.
"Ok. Be careful," Thor says.
"Promise."
Thor just smiles. I smile back before walking down the hallway to the elevator. Once I reached it I pressed the down button. It's good I finally have some time alone. Maybe I can get everything sorted out. Sif, Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun don't know about me loving Loki. So they're probably thinking I'm freaking out about Loki for absolutely no reason. When I figured everything out and when I'm ready I'll tell them. They deserve to know. Their my friends after all. They've been through almost everything with Thor and I. So, they need to be told.
Once the doors opened I stepped in and pressed the first floor. I have no idea where I'm going. Most likely going to walk around for while. Whatever helps. When the elevator reached the first floor I walked out. Most of the agents stared at me. I stand out. I'm not wearing their 'uniform'. Just jeans and a shirt. They can stare. I really don't care.

2 Hours Later
I've been mindlessly walking around for a while now. I haven't found a suitable place to sit and think. It's either too loud or too many people. I went to one of the parks we had to go to over a year ago. It was nice and all, but it didn't feel right. It did give me an idea though. I now have a destination that I want to go to. It's most likely going to be empty and deserted. It'll be fine for me though. I've just reached it.
I walk up to the very familiar door. The door I've seen so many times before. Behind it holds many mermories. Some of which were good. While others were bad. There are more good than bad. Except for the last one. That one is painful. The day of walking out on Loki fills my mind. For some reason being here feels right. There's something inside of me saying go in. Which I'm going to.
I try to open the door. It's a little hard to open. Probably hasn't been used since the day I walked out on Loki. The place is empty, like expected. It's somewhat dark in here. The light from the door illuminates the main room.
I quickly find a light switch. After turning the lights to the main room on, I walk back to the door and close it. This place brings back the few memories here. I'm focusing on the good ones. I walk over to the table that used to be littered with papers. I run my hand along it.
"Oh, the memories this place brings," Loki says.
I jump. I wasn't expecting him to be here. I turn around. Loki is standing by the door. He's walking closer to me. I stare at him. He stops a few inches from me. He frowned when he stared at me. Must see the bruise.
"Why are you here," I ask.
"Figured I'd come here just to come. Wasn't really expecting you. So, why are you here," Loki says.
"I wanted to get away from everyone."
"Why is that? Too much stress? Or...?"
I look down.
"No, nothing with stress," I begin.
I look Loki in the eyes. He looks worried and concerned.
"Just confused," I say.
"About," Loki questions.
"You."
"Like, what I'm doing? Or feelings?"
"Nothing with what you're doing. Just feelings. I haven't been right."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to mix up your emotions."
"It's just because you suddenly come back in my life. I don't know what to do. Someone mentions your name and I freak out, somewhat. I wanted to be alone to get away from everything and one. Just some time to think."
"Do you want me to leave?"
"No! Please stay." I plead.
Don't I sound pathetic? I might aswell be on my knees begging him to stay.
"If you want me to that much then I'll stay," Loki teases.
"Thanks," I say.
"Don't worry about it. I was wanting you to let me stay. I've missed you terribly. It hurts me not being with you," Loki admits.
"I miss you too. I want you back. I want to be back with you. I've even dreamed about you, once. It was an amazing dream. I wished it was real."
Loki rubbed his head. So, he still does that.
"Look I'm really sorry. I don't mean to be hurting you. I just wanted... I just want you," Loki says.
"Then stop all of this! All of this madness of wanting to rule a kingdom. If you really wanted me then you wouldn't be doing this," I say.
Loki bites his lips. Tears are welling up in my eyes. I swallow hard. Pain and sadness are clearly present in Loki's eyes. It's probably in mine as well.
I walk closer to Loki. Now we're almost touching. His hand keeps bumping mine. That was until he grabbed and held it. I stare into Loki's eyes. He too has tears.
"Loki, please don't this. I want us to be together. We can't if you keep going on this rampage. We can go to another realm. To get away from the others. So we can be together and not have to worry about them," I say.
Tears are streaming down my face. Loki blinks. A few tears fall down his face. I look down. Loki remains quiet. I look back up at him.
"Loki, I'm sorry. I can't do this. I thought you wanted to be together. Obviously that's not all that important to you," I say.
"Yes, it is," Loki says.
"Then why do you continue with this nonsense? Why?"
Loki doesn't say anything. He's just stroking my hand with his thumb. I swallow again.
"I'm so sorry Loki. I can't do this anymore," I say, my voice cracking.
I begin to walk to the door. Loki holds onto my hand before releasing. I bite my lip. He's not even going to try and stop me. This hurts so much. I get ready to open the door.
"Wait," Loki pleads.
Loki doesn't understand. He wants me to wait for him. To wait that he'll win and I'll be with him. That can't happen. No matter what. I'm not sure I can keep waiting.
---------
That's it for chapter six. The ending just breaks my heart. Loki's been hurt before and this adds to it. I feel so bad for Loki. Maybe Araceli will hold on a bit longer. Maybe she won't. It'll all happen as the story goes on.
I picked a song that is the opposite of this ending. It's I'll be there for you by Bon Jovi. It's ironic in a way. I posted the video to the song.
