-_Araceli's POV_-
After walking out from spazzing on my friends, I sat and talked with Slater and Ramirez. We talked about different things. They asked about Sif and the Warriors Three. They asked if I knew them. When finding out that I knew them, they asked what they did. I felt really proud talking about them. Like a parent explaining their child's achievements. We've all fought in many great battles together. Talking about them makes me feel proud. They're a great group of people. Explaining the great things they do isn't something that happens often. When it does it makes me feel proud and happy.
"You're really happy talking about this," Slater comments.
"Sorry if I'm overwhelming you with my excitement. They're amazing people. Getting the chance to explain who they are makes me feel proud of them. They're amazing friends and fighters," I say.
"From what you've said it sounds like it," Ramirez says.
The door that leads to the other room opened. Thor walked out. All three of us are staring at him. Thor stares at me. He slightly nods his head for me to follow him. I stand and walk out into the hallway with him.
"What's wrong," I ask.
"Are you ok," Thor asked.
"Yes, I'm fine."
"You sure? You sort of freaked out when they mentioned Loki."
I cringed when he said Loki. Dammit. I have to control myself.
"My emotions are mixed up. I was fine until I saw Loki. Now my feelings are all messed up. I'm trying not to look stupid when I do freak out. That doesn't work so well though," I say.
"I've noticed. You cringed when I mentioned you know who," Thor says,
"I know. I want you to know I'll be fine. Give me some time to figure this out."
"Ok. If you need anything you tell me. I'm here to help you."
"Thank you. I'll keep it in mind."
I hug Thor. He hugs me back. I love hugging Thor. His hugs are always warm and welcoming. Something which Thor is. Thor's always been like this. Caring for others. He's a good guy. I wished he didn't love me. It'd be better for him. He wouldn't have to suffer because I don't love him back. I can't force him to change though. It's all up to him.
After a few more seconds we released each other. I stared up at Thor. He grinned at me. I smiled back.
"Thank you for being my friend Thor. You've been there all the times I needed it. You here for me again. Thank you," I say.
"I don't want you to be hurt or upset. It's just who I am. I want you to be ok before I am. But, if you then I am," Thor says.
"You don't have to worry about me. Worry about yourself."
"Not until you're ok."
"You're too damn stubborn."
"So are you."
"Just make sure you ok."
"I'll make sure of it since you said so."
"You better."
"I will. Are you going to back to talk with the others?"
"Not right now. I just want to be alone."
"Be careful."
"I used to go on walks alone. I think I can handle myself."
"I know, but I still worry for you."
