Tough Love

Chapter 10

Percy's P.O.V

When everyone else left to get ready to go ice skating i turned around to be scared by Hazel, "Oops sorry, didn't mean to scare you." She giggled.

"It's ok," i mumbled, "What do you want?" I asked a little louder.

Hazel walked to the door. Before she opened it she turned to face me, "All i wanted to ask was, after you get ready can you come to my cabin? So we can walk to the beach together."

"Ummm wouldn't Frank get mad at me?" I asked nervously.

Hazel laughed, "Oh Percy, sure Frank is my boyfriend, but he isn't always watching over me. He gives me a lot of freedom. Plus we all agreed that Nico and i will be the ones to stay by your side."

I thought about it the nodded, "Okay, sure."

She smiled at me, "Well see you in a few minutes, darling." She walked out shutting the door behind her.

I chuckled at how she calls everyone darling. I walked to my dresser and pulled out a pair of dark blue jeans, and a camp half blood long sleeve. After i put those on i pulled on my blue sweater th at says 'Goode High swim team'. After like 10 minutes of searching i found my skates.

I walked up to the Hades cabin and knocked. Hazel opened the door and smiled, "Hey Percy, come in. I just need to grab my sweater."

I walked in and sat. The Hades cabin is nothing new to me, because its one of the three cabins we meet up in. The other two are mine and Jason's, because we have no other siblings to deal with. We usually meet up in the Hades cabin for one specific reason. And that reason is that Hazel and Nico can keep clean and everyone else knows its impossible for me and Jason to keep clean for more than a week.

Hazel pulled on her sweater, "Don't you have ice skates?" I asked looking at her empty hands.

She shook her head, "Nico,Leo,and I don't know how to ice skate. Piper is bringing us a pair so Jason can teach us. Do you know how to ice skate?" She asked looking at the skates in my hands.

I gave her a smile. Not a forced smile like I've been doing for the past few weeks. No i gave her a real smile, "Baby i was ment to be on ice! My mom said i was a natural."

Hazel giggled, "Then maybe you can teach us, because Jason can be bad at teaching." I nodded in agreement wich made her squeal.

Once we go to the beach everyone was already there. Calypso, Piper, and Frank were already on ice. And jason was helping Leo and Nico. Well it's more like Jason trying to pull Nico on the ice. Leo wouldn't stop falling so he got upset and just sat on the ice refusing to stand up.

I pulled on my skates and laced them up. I stood up and walked to the ice. Once i was on the ice i zipped past Jason, Leo,and Nico. I circled around Frank, and smiled at Piper and Calypso. I got back to the edge of the ice and everyone had there mouths hanging open.

"There's you answer Jason!" Frank yelled across the ice.

I turned to Hazel who was talking to Nico, "what was Jason's question and why didn't he ask me?" I said quietly.

Nico looked at me oddly, "Perce, you seemed so happy until you heard Frank."

"Well i was just wondering that if Jason has a question about me why didn't ask me. It makes me feel bad because i don't know if he is talking bad about me." I whispered.

Nico opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it and smiled. I was going to ask what he was going to say but hands covered my eyes.

I froze, "please who ever you are let go." I whispered angrily. The person took their hands off my face. I turned and i felt my face grow hot. Jason was behind me with a sad smile on his face.

"It wasn't a bad question Percy. My question was if you knew how to ice skate or not." He said with a light shade of pink on his cheeks, "Now we know that you can." He chuckled nervously.

"O-oh o-ok." I stuttered.

Jason looked at me right in the eyes, "You are really good at it too." He smiled.

My cheeks burned hot again, "Percy, you're blushing!" Sang Piper and Hazel.

My eyes widened, "wh-what! No i-im not! Im j-just co-cold!" I stuttered nervously.

Jason chuckled and kissed the top of my head. I froze in shock, happiness, and surprise. I know my face is as red as a tomato right now. Sense i was on ice i slipped. Some one caught me before i fell. Jason was holding me close to him. He wore a worried expression, "Percy, are you ok!?" He asked quickly.

I was unable to speak so i just nodded. I pointed at the dock and Jason looked confused, "You want to go sit down?" I nodded, "can you stand?" I nodded again. Jason stood me up my knees felt wobbly and i almost fell again. Jason chuckled, "i guess ill carry you over there." The older boy picked me up causing me to blush again.

He set me down on the dock, "Th-thank you." I managed to say.

"You're welcome." He replied. We locked eyes for a while until someonecleared her throat.

Jason turned to Hazel and she whispered in his ear. He nodded and left. Hazel sat by me, "Percy, can i ask you a question?"

"You just did." I chuckled.

Hazel rolled her eyes at me, "Do you like Jason? And don't lie to me." She said the last part forcefully.

Not wanting to get yelled at for lying i said the truth. "Yes" i said only loud enough for her to hear.

She didn't have a huge reaction like i thought she would have. No she just nodded, "Are you gay?"

I turned to look at her fully, "Don't you think that is a little personal?"

"Answer the question."

I sighed, "yes," i mumbled. Hazel hugged me. When she pulled away she looked at Jason, "Oh Hazel, please don't tell him. He will hate me forever."

"Yeah right." She scoffed, "Frank, can you come take me to Piper."She called and Frank nodded and made his way to us. Frank offered her a hand wich she took. Before she turned away she smiled at me, "Just let me tell you something Percy. Jason knows what he likes and he will stop at nothing to get it." Then she left. What is that supposed to mean!

I sat in silence until Nico came to me grinning like an idiot, "Sooooo i couldn't help but to over hear that You're gay." He giggled. I groaned and threw my head back, "Hey you know I'm not the one to judge, and don't worry about me liking you. I have my eyes in someone else."

As if on Que a group of Apollo kids came through the woods. Nico locked eyes with will who was making his way over here, "Hey guys." Will greeted.

"H-hi Will," Nico blushed.

I chuckledat Nico's odd behavior, "Hey will"

"Why are you guys just sitting around?" Will asked.

"Because i almost fell and i am recovering from shock." I answered. I didn't lie i did almost fall!

Will nodded and looked at Nico, "I c-can't ice sk-skate." Nico said sheepishly.

Will smiled, "Well then i will teach you." Nico nodded and Will lead Nico away.

Once again i sat in silence. After like 5 minutes someone sat by me, "Hey Perce." The boy said.

I looked up irritated. I am perfectly fine with sitting in silence! "What do you want, Jason?"

"Can i ask you something?" He smiled shyly.

"Go ahead. It seems like everyone has questions for me today." I growled.

Jason put a hand on mine making me tense up, "This one you will like. I promise. "

"Ok then what's the question?"

Jason gripped my hand harder, "Pursues Jackson, will you go on a date with me tonight?"

A/N CLIFFHANGER! MWAHAHAH *cough cough* sorry dry throat. But yes I'm going to be a total dick and leave it like that. Now you have to wait for the next chapter!
