Chapter 2 Girl Time

A/n: hello my little Vikings guess what? A few people have read my book!!!!!! Wait, duh you know that your reading it. Anyway it's winter break so I am hoping to update more often soon since I will have more free time but I still have to move so be patient. Putting that aside, the picture is the closest I could find to your dragon which is indeed a night fury but yours has blue eyes. And finally you will be seeing Hiccup soon give it a chapter or two wow that was long we'll without further adieu . . .
Your POV
I woke up under (d/n)'s wing, careful not to disturb her I got up and stretch out. Using leftover fish from last night I make myself breakfast. Just as I am finishing up I hear (d/n) wake up.
"Morning girl" I say tossing her some fish which she quickly gulps down.
"Well before I can kick back and have fun I need to get some work done. Do you want to help?" (D/n) nods her head so I continue. "I need you to find something soft that I could make into a mattress, OK?" (D/n) nods and bounds off into the forest. just as I finish making the bed and add the finishing touches on my desk (d/n) came in with . . . sheep? She nudges them towards me and I finally get the message.
"The wool" I exclaimed in realization. The next hour or so was spent sheering sheep. After shooing the bare animals back out into the forest, with sewn together blankets and wool as stuffing not only did I make a mattress but a pillow to. I sit back to admire my work.
"Well (d/n) we did it. What do you want to do now?" You watch as (d/n) walks over to you. She seems to have a goal in mind. Then you find yourself being thrown onto a certain dragons back.
"Oooooooooh you want me to ride you right?" (D/n) nods. "Well OK but nice and slow k? This is new to me." Although I could have sworn I saw a mischievous glitter in (d/n)'s eyes. She did as I asked and started slow, we flew higher and higher and I was enjoying myself. I was amazed as we flew above the clouds. I knew I should be cold but I wasn't, everything was going great until (d/n) decided to take me for a ride.
Suddenly (d/n) went into a nosedive. As we shot towards the sea I screamed at the top of my lungs. At the last moment she pulled up and we were soon back up in the clouds.
"Ha ha ha" I said sarcastically as. (d/n) gave me a dragon laugh. "If I had more experience that would have been fun. Considering I don't have experience I could have died". (D/n) rolled her eyes at me so I decided to mess with her. I'll show her I thought as I slipped off (d/n)'s back into a free fall. I love this. The wind in my hair as I fly on my own. I feel free. As (d/n) catches you you giggle. She scowls at you.
"I was just getting revenge" I said. You scream as (d/n) spins mid air throwing you off her back and catching you again.
"OK I get it no scaring the dragon" (d/n) just snorts in response. We spent the next hour or so doing tricks.
"Cloud spiral" (d/n) gave a powerful wing beat shooting herself up as she started to spin. We burst through a cloud.
"Falling arrow". (D/n) went into a nosedive. I pressed against her so there was less resistance. She pulled up at the last moment. We glided over the surface of the water.
"Ripple effect" I called to her. She began to dip her tail fin into the water slowing us down until her entire fin was in the water. Then (d/n) yanked it out causing an explosion of water as we shot up over some rocks.
"Catapult" I said standing up and back flipping off of her, me feet landed on her tail for a few seconds before I was launched into the air. I grabbed onto (d/n) and pulled myself onto her as we flew above the clouds.
"Free fall" I said quietly as I slipped sideways off (d/n)'s back. This one was my favorite. I didn't feel like I was falling, I felt like I was flying. I was at peace, I was free, I was a dragon.
I looked up at (d/n) as she showed off doing loop d loops and twirls as I laughed. My mirth was short lived as I realized a little . . . problem. The water was getting pretty close and (d/n) was to far away to catch me. (D/n) realized this to as she struggled to get to me. I knew she would never reach me, so I straightened out and put my arms above my head like a diver and slipped into the water. I was relieved to find that I was unharmed, I looked up to see that my momentum had driven me far below the surface. As I was about to swim up something farther down caught my eye. I swam down to see what it was.
It was sitting on an out shooting rock formation it was a strange square stone. It looked out of place, like it was from the land but had been dumped in to the ocean. It looked like it had paint on it, but it didn't look complete, like it was part of something bigger. Suddenly I felt a burning in my chest as my lungs screamed for air. I grabbed the rock and swam towards the surface. As my head popped up I gasped in air. A small wave of water hit me, I looked up to see a glaring (d/n) looking down on me.
"OK OK I get it I should have come straight up here. BUT look what I found!". I held up my treasure for her to see. She gave me a look that clearly said you do realize that is a rock right I rolled my eyes.
"I know it looks like a plain old rock but I think there's something special about it.". All I received was an eye roll as (d/n) took me by the shoulders and began to carry me to land.
"Could I at least ride on your back" I asked shivering. (D/n) looked down at me smirking.
"Guess not" I mumbled. This is going to be a long flight.

I am so sorry for not updating sooner! I have been so busy packing that I have not had the time. I will try to update soon but I can't promise anything. As a reward for your patience in the next chapter Hiccup will appear! Again so sorry to keep you waiting
