Doug: the ball starts in less than an hour I AM FREAKING OUT
Ben: it will be okay.
Doug: HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE SO CALM?!?!?
Ben: because Mal probably won't want to come, so I'm not nervous.
Doug: I didn't think about that.. Well... She might surprise us..
Ben: I doubt it. She's also still pretty mad at Evie, so even if there was a slight chance that she'd show up.. The fact that Evie will be there, crushed it.
Doug: I didn't think about that either..
Ben: it's okay. Don't feel bad about it. Just because my date most likely won't show, doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to have fun.
Doug: thanks. I'll try to stay calm. OH MY GOSH! IT'S 6:55!! IT STARTS IN FIVE MINUTES!!! CAN'T STAY CALM!!!! BREATH QUICKENING!!!!! ROOM GETTING DARKER!!!!!!
Ben: woah! Breathe!!
Doug: I CAN'T!!!
Ben: wait.. WHAT?!?
Doug: WAIT!! I can breathe!! I thought you were asking me to stay calm.
Ben: well, that makes a huge difference!! Meet you outside the ballroom.
