Chapter 10: She got some nerve

"...Brandon said something to me and its just stuck in my head" I said

"What he say ?" She asked

"He told me he loved me" I said

"Really ! Thats soo adorable" She said

"But I don't kno... he was drunk. He might have not meant it that way " I said

"Girl. what ever. You kno what they say. Drunk words speaks sober thoughts... or however that goes" She said "You just don't want to believe it"

"Whatever... Hows August doin" I asked her

"Hung over... Very hung over" She said

"Oh yeah that reminds me...Where's the aspirin ?" I asked her

"On the living room table" She said

"Thanks" I said to her

I went into the living room and got the aspirin but seen August hanging half way off the couch.

"Waddup August" I said to him

"Ughh...wadduppp" He said

I just laughed at him then went back into my room upstairs. Brandon was still in his same position.

"Here take this bae" I said handing him the aspirin and water

"Thanks baby" He said after he drunk the water. He layed his head in lap while I rubbed his chest. We just stayed like that for a while until he was back sleep again. My phone started ringing and it was Julius.

"Hey waddup bro" I said to him

"I'm not a bro" I realized it was not Jules on the phone. I knew who it was as soon as they started talking, I just wanted to play around for a bit.

"Yea you are... this is Jules right ?" I asked

"No silly" She said

"Oh well hey India" I said

"I'm not her either" She said

"Well who is it ?" I asked already knowing who it is

"Its me" She said

"And who is me ?" I asked

"Kayla !" She said

"I'm just playing. Hey Kayla Bayla" I said to her

"Hey Liyah. Are you coming over today ?" She asked me

"Umm... Yea" I said "Imma be over in a little while "

"Yayy okay" She said

"Okay Imma see you later Kay" I told her

"KK bye" She said then hung up. I just shook my head and smiled. That little girl is too much.

I looked back over at Brandon and he was sound asleep. I guess Imma just go hang out with my bro and them for a little bit today. I went into the bathroom and got in the shower. I came out and put on my black Nike sweats and a grey Last Kings hoodie with my black, white, and grey Air Jordans. I went downstairs.

"Hey Crys. If B wakes up before I get back can you tell him I went over to Jules house" I told her walking into the living room where she was on the couch with August.

"Ight" She said

I walked out the house and got in my car. I made it to Jules house in less than 15 minutes.

"Helloo people" I said walking in the house

"Thanks for ringing the doorbell" Jules said to me sarcastically

"Hey big bro missed me ?" I said "I know you did"

"Your too much you know that... I know where Kay gets it from" He said shaking his head

"Whatever" I said then walking into the living room "Hey India"

"Hey Liyah. How have you been" She asked me

"I'm chillin. We all went out last night and the boys got crazy drunk tho" I said

"Wow. Where's Crys ?" She asked

"At home with August" I said smiling

"Hmm I shoulda known" She said laughing

"LIYAHH !!" I turned around and seen Kayla running to me with Blake closely behind

"Hey stinka" I said "Hey baby boy"

"Hey te- te Liyah" Blake said hugging me. Kay did the same.

I stayed there for a while and then the door bell rang.

"Y'all expecting someone" I asked Jules

"No" He said "I'll get it"

He went to the door and opened it. He then yelled my name to come here.

"Who is -" I stopped mid sentence when I seen who was standing there. She got some nerve.
