Chapter 4: Just The Beginning

*Friday Afternoon*

The crew and I were out getting something to eat and just chillin before the party tonight. It's going to be held at the teen club downtown called Heat.

"Aye Liyah , you ready for tonight." Teyana said

"Hell yea !" I said "I'm too excited"

"That's right. It is going to be good though" Seven said

"Yup and speaking of tonight... Does everyone got what we're wearing?" Tre asked

"Yup" we all said

"Is the clothes for next weekend coming in too?" Crys asked

"Yea it should be here Wednesday" Tre said

"Okay" She said

It was 5:00. The party started at 7:30. Me and Crys was at her house getting ready and then we would ride to Challengers to meet the rest of the crew and go from there.

Me and Crys put on the outfits. She left her hair curly while I left mine straight with tiny braids in the front on the side. (The outfits is shown on the right but they aren't wearing the hats and it has 318 Crew in graffiti letters on the pants.)

We got in the car and drove to Challengers. The crew was waiting outside by the truck we would be driving in.

"Ight y'all, ready to go?" Laurent said

"Yup" We said

We got in the truck and drove downtown to Heat. It was 7:45 and there were cars and teenagers everywhere.

"Wow this girl knows some people" I said

"Tell me about it" Crys said

We found a parking spot in the back after like 10 minutes. Crys decided to call her mom to let her know that we're here.

"Mom, yea we're here... We're in the back... okay bye"

"My mom said go through that door and it leads backstage." Crys said

We all got out and went through the door. We entered and went down a hallway then it led us backstage. We seen Crystals mom and she led us to the birthday girl.

"Hey y'all thank you for coming. This is Brianna, the birthday girl and she's a big fan of 318" Brenda said

"Hey" we all said to her

"OHMYGOD !! I LOVE 318. Y'ALL ARE AMAZING DANCERS." Brianna said

"Thank you. we're happy to be here for you." Tre said hugging her

She looked like she wanted to past out.

"OHMYGODDDD !!!! Tre Smyth just hugged me." She said really excited

We all laughed at how excited she was. She looked at the rest of the crew.

"OMG. Your Druex, Matt, Laurent, Seven, Teyana, and Crystal." She said excited then looked at me

"You forgot one last member. This is Aaliyah and she is an official dancer/ family member of 318." Tre said pointing at me

"I'm sorry I didn't see you." Brianna said smiling at me "I can't wait to see you all dance tonight"

"Okay so let's get started." Brenda said

"Does the DJ have our music?" Crys asked

"Yup all you have to do is just go out there" She said

"Okay. Y'all ready?" Crys asked

"Yup" We all said

"Ight y'all. Let's bring Brianna to the stage so we can get the performances started" The DJ said

Brianna walked to the stage and went to the DJ booth.

"You ready Brianna?" The DJ asked

"Yeah !!" She said

"Okay. Everybody welcome The 318 Crew to the stage" He said

The crowd screamed loudly while the music started playing. (The dance is on the right)

When we finished, the crowd started screaming louder. Tre went to the mic.

"Wassup y'all. We just want to say Happy 16th Birthday to Brianna !! We heard how big of a fan you are so we wanted to hook you up with the 318 package. It includes 318 shirts & tanks, hoodies, and sweats." He said

"OMG !! Thank you soo much !" She said

"Wait there's more. Do you know about the B. Smyth private concert next weekend?" He asked her

"Yeaa " She said

"Well you get tickets for you and a couple of your friends to see him." He said

Brianna screamed so loud till it wasn't funny. She was soo excited and honestly, I would be too if I was her.

We exited the stage and went to the back.

"Thank you soo much again for coming tonight. It means a lot right now. " She said

"No problem. we love our fans and it was fun." Tre said

"Aaliyah right." Said turning to me

"Yea" I said to her smiling

"You are so amazing. No wonder your in the group." She said hugging me

"Thank you" I said hugging her back

We spent the rest of the night dancing and having fun. We met some of Brianna's friends too. They were all nice and said that they were happy that I was apart of 318. The crew gave out autographs and some one even asked me for mines. It was unbelievable. So unreal. It was like 10:30 or something when we left to go home.

Me and Crys walked through the front door of her house.

"They showed us mad love out there tonight" She said

"Yea. the 318 fan base goes hard" I said

"Yup. They showed you love too. I seen you giving out ya first autograph." She said smiling

"Yea. That was something I never would have thought of doing. It was amazing" I said

"Yea. I was like that at first. You'll have to get use to it because you gonna get more of those and soon you gon be some people's favorite in the group. It's only the beginning " She said

I just sat back and took it all in. It's only the beginning.

This is a quick chapter but I just wanted to post the party scene so that I could get to that part in the story where B. Smyth would make an appearance.
