I ran as fast as I could. I dashed through the school gates.

Shit.

I am going to be late. I glanced at my wrist watch.

'8:35'

Our teacher must be checking the attendance right now.

I hope she forgets about it.

"Vic Santos."

"Present."

I quickly ran upstairs, going to the seniors hallway.

"Sarah Forest."

"Here."

I ran as fast as I can to find English class.

"Drake Benson."

"Present."

My body began to feel tired.

This is what I get from sleeping late last night.

Did I mention that woke up 7:20 am in the morning?

"Matt Evergreen."

Silence

I just kept going.

"Matt Evergreen."

Silence

My heart leaped when I finally found my classroom.

I quickly ran towards the door and opened it.

"Is Matt Evergreen present?"

I heard my teacher's voice as I got near the door.

I barged into the door and raised my right arm.

"I'm here!"

All of the attention was on me.

The teacher gave me an odd look while the other students just stare at me.

"Good. You are just in time. Just come earlier next time. I don't want late students." The teacher said.

I nod and walk to my seat.

"You're late nerd!" One of the students whispered.

I gave him a glare. I just ignored him and sat down to my seat.

I sat down and opened my backpack to get my English notebook.

The class just went on until the door opened for the very last time.

The class went quiet as the attention focused on the door.

"Sorry i'm late." A deep masculine voice spoke.

He came into the classroom without speaking another word.
