My Lover Has Lost It [Yandere!Levi x Eren]

Chapter 1 - Hello, My Love

     It was a casual day for the Scouting Legion's Squad Levi. They didn't have any expeditions or training scheduled, and everyone lacked motivation to do anything that day. Everyone but Oluo stayed in their facilities, searching for something intriguing to partake in. The single member who had decided to venture out headed towards the horse stables, running his fingers through the coarse hair of his own equine.

     Eren Jaeger, just like everyone else but one had nothing on his quota, and was simply poking a quill around a blank page, swinging the feather around every so often as to make a mark but for the most part dotting the paper with ink. He decided after a few minutes to head to Corporal Levi's office to see if there was anything he could do in order to cease his boredom. He wended down the hallways, his eyes drifting from nameplates on each of the doors he passed. Finally he made it to the Captain's office, and hesitantly knocked twice. Levi sighed and almost shouted from his desk, "What the Hell do you want?!" It seemed as if he subconsciously knew who was on the other side. Nonetheless, Eren turned the knob of the door, surprised to find it unlocked. He poked his head in and caught a glimpse of Rivaille wiping down and dusting his desk with his usual mask on. "Excuse me for interrupting your cleaning, but it seems I don't have anything to do today, so is there anything I can do for you?"

Levi thought for a moment, and considered slaving Eren away to making all the windows shine but scrapped it, merely made up for his own humor.  "Hmm.. If I didn't know any better I'd probably set you to the task of cooking, but Hell, we all know where that would go." He smirked, satisfied at his remark.
"Anyway, how about make yourself useful and clean, filthy brat. More so yourself."
Eren sighed inwardly attempting to make it inaudible. Of course, cleaning. Why'd I bother to ask anyway, I should've known. He muttered in his mind.
"Yes sir." Jaeger decided not to waste time and simply agreed, leaving Levi a bit dumbstruck but also proud in a way, to see that Eren hadn't stayed so quick to judge all of his habits. Honestly... Levi thought.
     Eren gathered the cleaning utensils necessary and began wiping down the countertops in the dining hall of the abandoned castle. They had been stained and chipped away over the years, but it was fruitless as the kitchen was cleaned almost everyday to refrain from catching diseases and sicknesses, so he decided to move to a more... grimy area? Finding a grotesquely soiled room on the lower floor, he set his mind to making it sparkle once more. It looked to be an extra office for another member, and Eren thought to himself jokingly that he would clean it for a future rookie. He got on his hands and knees, scrubbing away as powerfully as he could.

     The short male scratched at his undercut, trying to formulate something to preoccupy him. He suddenly remembered dismissing Eren to clean, and thought to go check on him. He trailed the sent of bleach and other cleaning products throughout the overly-large building, threatening to crumble beneath him with every rickety pillar. Levi eventually located Eren in the extra office. He lay against a wall and was sitting on the floor, his cleaning mask still on. "Shitty brat must've fallen asleep while cleaning. Though, he is kind of.. cute when he naps.." The raven-haired male whispered more so to himself than anyone.How dare he leave himself in such a vulnerable position.. Anybody could.. Levi shook his head of the thought and decided not to wake him. "Tch.. Damn brat, at least when he rests he's not so tense." He crouched down, eyes still on the brunette. The Corporal sat next to him, slightly leaning on his shoulder attempting to not wake Eren up. Plenty of different suggestions and ideas ran through Levi's head on why he said the brat was 'cute', and why he was compelled to stay beside him in this moment. Rays of light flooded into the room from the large window, casting an elongated shadow of the two as the sun sunk in the sky. Eventually, the raven fell asleep resting on his subordinate in the dim light.

    It was the middle of the night now, and Hanji and the others were running around desperately trying to find the two. They had all been fretting that they had been kidnapped, or worse, killed. Hanji was pressed with looking through all the offices, and she did just that until she found the pair resting on each other. She heaved out a large sigh of relief, but then immediately became curious. Different possibilities floated through her mind, but Zoë simply smiled at the single one that stuck: They're lovers! She quickly headed outside, gathering as many flowers as possible. She ran back inside and bumped into Petra along the way, motioning for her to follow. She trailed behind Hanji questionably, but once she saw Eren and Levi sleeping beside each other she blushed and covered her nose, pretending she got a nosebleed. Hanji handed Petra a clump of flowers and told her to weave a flower crown. The two girls quickly made two pink flower crowns, each placing one on one of the boy's heads. Hanji jumped up and pulled a piece of paper out from her pocket, scribbling some chicken scratch onto it. She slid the note between some stems on Levi's crown, whispering to Petra what it said. They chatted silently, the blonde asking many questions which Hanji couldn't answer. They heard Levi groan silently in his slumber and they both held their index fingers to their mouths, silencing each other as they slowly walked out of the room. "Aw Hanji, I do like Levi but they're just so cute together!" Hanji shook her head in agreement, snickering.

     Eren awoke early in the morning and felt a weight on his right shoulder. He looked over and saw Lance Corporal Levi Rivaille, resting his head on him, very much asleep. He blushed, looking at the Captain who was out cold. He decided to stay there, as to not wake the poor man who barely got enough sleep to begin with. He wasn't tired enough to nod off again though, so he only darted his eyes around, trying to find a comfortable area to rest them at. He was a bit nervous for if Levi woke up, he'd be suspicious as to why Eren stayed put instead of wake him up or leave so he tried to stay silent to hear if Levi were waking so he could shut his eyes.

     The raven rose up from his bed, scratching his face. He stretched under the covers, but as he extended his legs he felt something. Skin? He looked to his right and saw Eren laying down beside him, staring at Levi, and he blushed a little as he turned his head away from the brunette. Eren smiled and sat up, resting his head on the shorter male's chest. The raven stroked his deep brown hair affectionately, looking up at the ceiling.
"..Heichou?"
"Hmm?"
"Will you stay with me forever?"
"Of course my love."
The brunette beamed with joy and love towards Levi. He placed his hand where the raven's heart was, and he placed his hand overtop of Eren's. "I love you, Eren."

     As Eren was looking around the empty room, he felt Levi wrap his arms around him. He began blushing even harder than before, his whole face a reddish-pink. He looked over and saw his Corporal scrunching up his face like a kitten, and Eren struggled to hold back the urge to peck his cheek. Rivaille snuggled up next to him even more, and as the brunette turned to face him he burried his face in Eren's chest, and he didn't think he could blush any more. The teen took a chance and set his hand on Levi's head, ruffling his hair slightly. As he did so, he realized they both had flower crowns on their head. Eren took his off, setting it to the side. He sighed contently, wishing this moment would last forever. But sadly, all good things come to an end. Levi fluttered his eyelids as he slowly awoke. He was only half awake when he rubbed his eyes and said, "Good morning my love.. Hey, Eren.. What time is it..?" The brunette's eyes widened. "H-Heichou?! 'My love'? Are you alright??" He was completely at a lost as to why the cold hearted man would say such a thing, and if anything to him. He finally was fully awake, and he looked around and saw Eren with a shocked face. He let out a 'Gah!' and stumbled backwards. Shit, it was only a dream. He thought.
"S-sorry.. I need to get going Heichou, I have something to.. uh, take care of!" The brunette spewed as he gathered the cleaning supplies and ran out of the room. "Wait!" Levi called to no prevail. A swatch of Eren's shirt had gotten caught while he escaped the room, and it was stuck in the doorway. The raven walked over and picked it up, instinctively sniffing it. Realizing what he was doing, he threw the fabric to the floor and placed his head in his hands. A ring of flowers slipped off his head with a note tucked between two stems. It read, 'Admit it Shortie, You're in love with your subordinate! What a scandalous endeavor hehe ~ Hanji'. Levi crumpled the slip of paper and hissed, "Dammit.. For once, shitty glasses is right.. I can't hide it anymore, the stupid brat's stolen my heart."

Author's Note: Whew! I'm sorry this came out a day late, I changed my mind on what Levi's dream was about and had to go through a lot of editing on that part. I also don't want these chapters to be too short, so I try my best to get these out as quick as I can. Also, I'm not going to start another fanfic while this one's going so neither gets neglected. This will get finished, I promise! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter ~
